With the support of our Victorian team, she now has a place that reflects her needs, gives her space to grow, and offers the foundation to pursue her goals. This is where she’ll build memories, celebrate milestones, and continue shaping the life she chooses.

At Orion Care, we’re proud to walk alongside Clare on this journey - because every participant deserves not just a house, but a place where they feel truly at home.

🎄 Who Gives a “Bauble”? Orion Care Does! 🎄

In all his years, Malcolm has never had a Christmas bauble with his name on it - until now!
For our recent Christmas in July celebration at the Wheatsheaf community, Liz and the team made sure everyone received their very own personalised bauble. A small gesture but heart warming.

This is more than just a decoration - it’s a keepsake that will bring joy every July and December, year after year.

It might have been chilly outside, but that didn’t stop us - we just brought the BBQ indoors… because we can! 😄

We’re reliving the magic of the night we loaded up the fun bus and headed into the city for Illuminate Adelaide. 🌟

We’re so lucky to live in a place that offers such incredible experiential events - and the Evanston community was absolutely spellbound by the dazzling lights and mesmerising sounds. 💡🎶

It may have been a chilly evening, but thanks to our amazing Community Manager Dawn, we had hand warmers, snacks, and plenty of laughs to keep us toasty. 💛

🐾Puppy Therapy at Evanston

💖 Puppy cuddles make everything better!
This week, our Evanston community welcomed some very special four-legged visitors for puppy therapy. There were tail wags, happy barks, and plenty of snuggles – and not just from the puppies!

💡 Why it matters: Animal interaction has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and encourage social connection. For our residents, it’s a heartwarming way to brighten the week and bring everyone together.

The joy in their faces, support workers as well was just so good for the soul. We’re already counting down to the next visit! 🐶💛

Bundled Up for a Night in the City 💜🚌

It was cold, and the rain clouds were hanging around… but that wasn’t going to stop us!

The whole Evanston community wrapped up warm, gathered together, and hopped on the bus for one last city adventure. We enjoyed a wonderful night out for dinner - the perfect way to wrap up our recent evening escapades in the city.

Laughter, good food, and great company… that’s what community is all about. 💜

🎨✨ Creativity is in the air at Evanston!
This week, our residents have been exploring their artistic side – painting, sketching, and creating pieces as unique as they are.

🖌️ Why it matters: Art helps improve fine motor skills, supports self-expression, and sparks meaningful conversations. It’s also a wonderful way for residents to relax, boost confidence, and share a little piece of themselves with others. It's also heaps fun!

We love seeing the joy (and that little proud sparkle) when a piece is finished and shared. Here’s to more colour, creativity, and connection! 💛

Recently, we rolled up our sleeves, tied on our aprons, and came together for a Cooking at Home day with our incredible clients — and what a day it was!

From prepping fresh ingredients to sharing laughs over shared meals, the event brought to life everything Orion Care stands for:
