You may have seen in the news that Medicare rebate changes are coming.

From the 1st of July 2021, changes in the Medicare schedule will affect hand and wrist surgery procedures.

All our procedures will still be covered by Medicare and your private health fund.

We will continue to minimise any cost increases as much as possible, without compromising on the top quality of our care.

Corlia van Rooyen is one of our experienced practitioners of Hand Therapy.

Corlia has a national and international physiotherapy training background and 20 years of hand therapy experience. She obtained her Masters in Physical Therapy in the USA, and is a recognised hand therapist, having completed her hand therapy specialty training in New Zealand (NZAHT).

Libby Fleming is one of our experienced practitioners of Hand Therapy.

Libby has spent the last 7 years specialising in Hand Therapy after finishing 4 years of Occupational Therapy education at the University of South Australia. In 2018, Libby was credentialed as an Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association), a qualification demonstrating an advanced level of competence in hand therapy practice.

Dupuytren's disease is a family affair.

After 15 years of treating hands, for the first time this week, I had the unique pleasure to meet three generations at once with varying presentations of the same problem.

New SA Covid restrictions update (Nov 18)

All elective surgery has been cancelled at least until November 25. As soon as operating theatres open again, we will reschedule procedures to the first available option.

Our office will be open for consulting. Tele-consults (Telephone, Zoom, Skype etc) are preferred, if possible. When visiting our office, mask use, distancing and hand sanitising is manatory. Please limit your visit to one person at the time only.

Please do not visit if have symptoms or have been in close contact.
