Finance/Accounts Officer (Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance/Accounts Officer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in financial administration and a strong understanding of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) framework.

Key Responsibilities:
• Processing invoices and payments in Xero
• Bank and account reconciliation
• Preparing and managing quotes for services and Service Agreements
• Following up on unpaid accounts and managing debt collection processes
• Liaising professionally with stakeholders including the Public Trustee
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial records in line with NDIS requirements

Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar finance or accounts role
• Strong working knowledge of Xero
• Previous experience with NDIS financial processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Salisbury Heights 1:2 SIL
Immediate Vacancy for a Female Participant, Age Range 25-60 with a SIL Ratio of 1:2 or core funding equivalent of. Currrent client is 60 year old female participant with psychosocial disability and no behaviours of concern.

Elizabeth South 1:1 or 1:2 SDA and SIL
Immediate Vacancy for a Male OR Female Participant, Age Range 18-50, with a SIL Ratio of 1:1 or 1:2. Current client is an 18 year old male with no behaviours, CP, intellectual disability and seizures. Can live with male or female clients of any age.

Davoren Park 1:1 SIL or a minimum of 9-10 hours support a day and can live alone during the other unsupported hours.

Morphettvale 1:1 SIL or a minimum of 9-10 hours support per day and can live alone during the other unsupported hours.

Full Time HR Officer to join our team.

Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm

The role will be responsible for providing HR advice, guidance and support to meet the needs of Affinity Alliance, as well as ensuring the HR Framework is compliant with relevant legislation.

Essential experience and requirements

* Previous NDIS experience working within the Disability sector and sound knowledge of the SCHADS Award.
* Demonstrated experience in developing compliant HR framework.
* Demonstrated successful experience in end-to-end recruitment documentation, such as attraction, retention and exiting.
* Demonstrated experience in managing unsuccessful performance processes.
* Conduct the Interview process of all potential staff from pre-screening, interview, reference checks, onboarding and sending new staff contracts of employment.
* Ability to develop strong professional relationships with all internal/external stakeholders.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to prepare reports, policy and procedures and communicate these to employees.
* Interpret, apply and advise on compliance regarding award entitlements, terms and conditions and organisation employment conditions, Fair Work Act and related legislation.
* Manage compliance requirements regarding the NDIS practice standards including ensuring all pre-employment compliance obligations are met prior to commencement of employment.
* Manage the administration of any Workcover claims and Return to Work coordination for relevant employees.
* Ensure the strictest of confidentiality is always maintained throughout the organisation.
* Develop and manage training and induction programs to support new and existing employees.
* Work in a safe manner, adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

All new appointments will be subject to a NDIS clearance, Working with Children Check and all other relevance clearances required for the position.
