Have you ever looked at a CPD course and wondered:
- Will this actually be worth my time?
- Will I walk away with something useful?
- Is this genuinely high quality, or just well marketed?
CPD quality can be difficult to measure.
Course completions, star ratings, and strong promotional language do not always tell the full story, especially when health professionals are looking for education that is relevant, practical, and worth their limited time and financial investment.
That is why we developed the Learner Quality Score (LQS) and have created the new LQS guide to help understand it.
The guide outlines how Med CPD is approaching learner engagement and education quality, using input signals designed to help create better experiences for both learners and providers.
The guide covers:
- Learner engagement indicators
- Provider quality considerations
- Feedback loops
- Continuous improvement opportunities
At its core, LQS is about asking a more useful question:
Did this learning experience provide real value to the person who completed it?
Importantly, this is something we want to shape with the community.
If you are a health professional or CPD provider, we would really value your feedback:
- What should a high-quality CPD experience look like?
