Whether it’s managing emotions, building social skills, an issue in the classroom, or navigating complex systems like the NDIS, the Social Work Team is here to help.

Supporting children and families with:

Sally is a dedicated and compassionate general practitioner - a ‘GP’ - with a special interest in paediatric and perinatal care, as well as lactation medicine.

With a strong foundation in these areas, Sally is committed to providing the highest standard of care for both parents and children.

Sally consults Tuesday mornings at Ashford.

Are my child’s tantrums typical—or a sign of something else?

All children experience big feelings. But when those feelings overwhelm your household daily, it’s okay to ask questions.

Typical tantrums are short, occasional, and usually triggered by common things like tiredness or hunger. But if meltdowns are intense, constant, or leave you feeling lost… it may be time to check in.

Sometimes, what looks like “bad behaviour” is actually your child’s way of saying, “I’m struggling and don’t know how to ask for help.”
