This is really good to know and a great initiative by Adelaide Airport

They say a picture tells 1000 words but it doesn't always tell the full story.

We know airports can be busy and stressful places, especially if you are unsure what to expect. It is even more stressful when you have a disability that is not immediately obvious to airport staff. Hidden Disabilities can include autism, anxiety, dementia, mental health conditions, visual impairments, deaf or hard of hearing.

In the weeks leading up to this little guy's trip, his family were very anxious about how he would manage the airport, but with the help of this sunflower lanyard, they were met with empathy and kindness. 🌻

While he might be wearing a mask, you can still see the happy look on his face!
