Meet Dr Tran 👋

Dr. Trinh Tran joined the Medical HQ team in 2015, bringing a distinguished background in medical education, pharmacology, and community health. Beyond her work with us, Dr. Tran is a leader in the wider medical community. She is a Board Director, an Examiner for the RACGP, and has served as an Assessor for AHPRA. She is also deeply committed to health equity, practicing at an Aboriginal community-controlled health service.

Dr MS Kamban Babu is a familiar face here at Medical HQ, having joined our practice way back in 2008! With over 15 years of dedicated service to our community, he brings a wealth of experience and a steady, compassionate approach to patient care. Building on our rural and urban practice integration and our previous Men's Health Days, we were proud to host the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗠𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 at Medical HQ Glynde on Wednesday 11/2/26. 💙

We welcomed 19 farmers from the Yorke Peninsula who attended for comprehensive Men’s Health Checks with our GPs and practice nurses. It was a fantastic opportunity to focus on preventative health, early detection, and practical wellbeing strategies in a supportive environment.

A big thank you to our generous sponsor Elders Minlaton, whose support helped make the day possible.

We were also privileged to hear from our guest speakers:
• Richard Sheppy – Fat Farmers
• Ian Mawby – Hearing Matters
• Chris McDermott - Fair Go for Australians

The morning was filled with valuable conversations, health insights, and plenty of camaraderie - finishing off with a hearty BBQ lunch enjoyed by all.

Events like this highlight the importance of taking time out to prioritise health, especially for those working hard in our rural communities.

Dr Smita Anand joined our practice in 2021 and has special interests in women's and men's health, child and adolescent health, mental health and chronic disease management.She has worked extensively in the Emergency Department for many years and has completed her Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) with the Australian College of Emergency Medicine (ACME).

⏱️ If you think you’ll need more than 15 minutes, please book a longer appointment so we can take the time you need.
📅 For regular appointments, try to book ahead, and if something comes up, please cancel online as soon as possible.

Dr Natalia Egorova is one of our GPs here at Medical HQ, bringing experience in Emergency, Intensive Care and Anesthetics, as well as the ability to perform mirena/IUD insertions or removals. February marks Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, which is an extremely important initiative in the health calendar. 🫶
