A new type of care plan is now available for eligible patients, called Chronic Condition Management Plan. 🫶

Your care plan will outline your chronic condition, the health and lifestyle goals you have outlined & set together with your doctor, and the steps you will take to help manage your health. Once we have your plan in place, a three monthly review is highly recommended.

Please know we can only see the individual who is booked for the appointment, so please ensure only the scheduled person attends.

If you anticipate your consultation will be longer than 15-minutes, we kindly ask that you book a longer appointment to allow us adequate time to address your needs thoroughly.

📣 Please know that Medical HQ will bulk bill standard consultations for DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) patients.

For some private procedures or treatment, DVA patients may need to apply for “Prior Financial Approval” from DVA to have the procedure or treatment funded. Your practice will let you know if this is required.

Please note that the approval may take up to two weeks for approval and there may be gap payment. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give your local MHQ practice a call.

Don't forget! This July we're trialling Total Body Photography (TBP) this July! 📸

TBP creates a photographic map of your skin, making it easier to spot changes early - ideal for patients with lots of moles, a history of melanoma, or anyone wanting a skin baseline for future comparison.

During our trial, your first set of photos is just $25 (normally $49). Follow-up photos after the trial will be between $99–$129, with concession discounts available.

TBP is an extra layer of protection and works alongside your regular skin check, not in place of it. Your nurse or GP will recommend it if it’s right for you.
