We're excited to share that all of our current GP Registrars will be continuing with us into Semester 2! 🧑‍⚕️

Dr Lara and Dr Qing Xi Tan (aka Dr Kingsley) will remain at Medical HQ Ardrossan and a special congratulations to Dr Kingsley for passing all his RACGP fellowship exams! He’ll soon be a fellowed GP. 👏

Dr Jade and Dr Amitava will be continuing their placements at Medical HQ Athelstone.

Dr Kristie will stay onboard at Medical HQ Glynde, and Dr Natalia at Medical HQ Maitland.

to access government payments & services. Because of this, Services Australia are now providing mobile service centres - and one is coming to Maitland on the Yorke Peninsula to provide assistance with your Medicare and Centrelink payments or services.

⏰ Visit the mobile service centre on Wednesday 3 September from 9am-4pm.
📍 You'll find it adjacent to the Town Hall on Gardiner Terrace.

👩‍⚕️ Welcome back, Dr Erika Nishimoto – who is now consulting with us at Medical HQ Maitland!

With a rich and varied career spanning Australia, Singapore and the UK, Dr Nishimoto brings decades of experience in general practice, emergency medicine, and aviation medicine.

She has worked across a wide range of clinical settings, from rural towns to major sporting events, and even played a role in the medical response to the Bali bombings. Outside of medicine, Dr Nishimoto enjoys travel, motorsport (with a budding go-kart racer in the family!), and unwinding at the piano.

We’re delighted to introduce Dr Su Lynn Cheah, who will be joining us at Medical HQ Athelstone one day a week from tomorrow, 11 August 2025.

Dr Cheah is a general adult psychiatrist who brings a wealth of experience across a broad range of clinical settings. Her advanced training includes rotations in old age psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and time with the NSW Ministry of Health.

She has particular academic interests in:
🔹 Computational neuroscience
🔹 Global mental health
🔹 The intersection of psychiatry and emerging technologies

Dr Cheah consults with patients aged 18+ and is passionate about delivering thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care. 🩺 Referrals are now available – please speak with your GP to access this support.

👋 Please join us in welcoming Dr Branimir Rajcic to Medical HQ!

Dr Rajcic is an experienced GP Registrar with a rich background in hospital-based medicine, including General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Paediatrics, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine. He has worked across most major hospitals in SA and at Monash Medical Centre in Victoria.

He brings a particular interest and skillset in:
🔹 Men’s and Women’s Health
🔹 Skin checks & surgical procedures, including skin cancer management
🔹 Children’s health
