Swipe to see what our optometrist Wes has been up to lately!

“I took a trip up the mountains to the remote Rolpa district of Nepal, with a small team of optometrists, optometry students, dispensers, support and translators. We ran 8 eyecare clinics in different areas of the Rolpa district, with the end goal to screen for treatable eye disease, distribute spectacles to those who would benefit, and provide access to essential eye surgery if appropriate. We saw 2800 patients over the 8 clinics and dispensed 2400 pairs of spectacles. I return with a greater appreciation for the quality of healthcare we have access to here in Australia.” - Wes Butler

Introducing Charlie Muecke!!

Charlie is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist who we are excited to have joining us at Innovative Eye Care.
Graduating from Flinders University in 2021, he has spent his recent years practicing in Noosa Heads. Charlie has a keen interest in orthokeratology and general disease management! Outside the practise you may find him out for a run or searching for the best coffee in town.
