Tendinopathy is a degenerative change within a tendon in the body.

[HAVE YOU HEARD OF SHOCKWAVE TREATMENT??]
Radial Shock-Wave Therapy is widely used for the treatment of many bone and soft tissue conditions in the feet and legs.
ESWT is an excellent, non-invasive, treatment, with very few potential side effects, for conditions that normally are very difficult to treat.
We have been using ESWT for many years now at Complete Podiatry and have been impressed with how effective it has proven to be.

[WHY DO I HAVE HEEL PAIN?]
Heel pain can be a tremendous pain in the butt (metaphorically, obviously) and can be a strong motivator to reduce or ease your exercise levels.

[WHAT IS THE MOST COMMON FOOT PAIN WE SEE IN THE CLINIC?]
You guessed it ...Plantar Fasciitis!
If you have plantar fasciitis, you know how painful and limiting the heel pain can be. Your first steps in the morning can be excruciating.
But...is it really Plantar Fasciitis or something else, If you do an internet search for heel pain, the first "diagnosis" will be plantar fasciitis.
This is the most common "internet-based diagnosis" for heel pain but, unfortunately, it may not be the correct one.

Recently in the clinic I have seen an increased amount of people suffering from pain underneath their forefoot, in particular plantar plate injuries
