to when Directors Sam and Alex took a leap of faith and bought a block of old tennis courts at Salisbury in 2020. Their vision was to turn them into 14 modern SDA apartments and give residents greater independence and flexibility. Little did they know their first project would go on to win the HIA Best Specialty Housing Award!

We will be taking people through personalised tours of our impressive SDA development at Blakeview, which is nearing completion.

In total, there are 6 x 2 resident houses, available on a shared occupancy basis. Each participant is eligible for a $1000 voucher of their choice, and the homes come finished with essentials like a couch, fridge, TV, washing machine, dryer, cutlery and crockery.

Meet our newest Intake Coordinator, Jaymi 👋 She is passionate about empowering individuals and is proud to be part of Avenu’s mission to help people create homes and lives that truly reflect their aspirations.

Her professional background includes working as a therapeutic support worker in the disability sector, counsellor, psychotherapist, and advocate in the Specialised Family Violence and Child Safety sectors.

She also has extensive experience in the legal and real estate industries, particularly in residential real estate and property management. Welcome Jaymi, it’s great to have you join the Avenu team!
