Flinders University Critical Care Society (FCCS) is a student-run society that is passionate about delivering current and relevant critical care education.

The Flinders University Critical Care Society (FCCS) has the following aims in 2025:

1. To provide opportunities for students to learn and practice new skills in the medical fields related to critical care
2. To give students opportunities for additional exposure to knowledge and equipment used specifically for the management of critically unwell patients
3. To increase awareness of emergency medical situations among the cohort beyond those covered in the curriculum
4. To provide opportunities for students to engage with healthcare professionals in the medical fields of critical care
5. To create opportunities for students to engage with critical medical care as potential career options

MedSTAR day is back for 2025! 🚁 Take a tour of the MedSTAR base, hear a lecture from some of the MedSTAR doctors and go through some clinical scenarios! 🩺

SAAS MedSTAR provides care to critically ill or injured patients in South Australia and retrieval from various parts of the state to the most appropriate medical facility.
