I remember having that same experience 22yrs ago.

It changed everything for me because for so long I thought there was something wrong with me and I was the only one that felt that way.

However, sitting in Group Therapy made me realise I wasn’t alone and others had felt and were feeling the same way I had and was.

It gave me a sense of belonging that I had always yearned for but couldn’t find until I sat in a group full of strangers!!
HA….Who would have thought? 🤷‍♀️

Why Group Therapy?

When we are driving our cars we all have our blind spots. We can’t see certain things because they are out of sight. We are unaware of them (unconscious) but the person in the passenger seat can see what you can’t see.
And if you have passengers in the back, you have even more people who can see what you can’t.

In life we all have blind spots about ourselves and those blind spots can cause us a lot of unnecessary pain and suffering.

When we work in group we get to see ourselves through the eyes of others, through supportive feedback we get to see what has been holding us back and how we can change certain behaviours that aren’t working for us.

The way we act and react in group is the way we act and react in the world. However the world isn’t always as kind, supportive or understanding as the group so it makes making changes hard or even impossible at times because we can be so reactive.

Being in the group gives you a safe place to observe, identify, learn, heal, change and resolve long standing issues and behaviours that have kept you stuck in the past.

The common goal of the group is to support and encourage each other’s growth and healing.

The group will be run on the 1st Thursday of every month.
