🌞 Summer 🔥
As the fiery energy of Pitta season settles in, we’re called to balance the heat of summer with practices that restore harmony within and around us.
Tomorrow, we come together in yogic community to welcome this vibrant season and all it brings. If we mindfully balance the intensity of the heat, we can glide through the summer months with ease, preparing ourselves for the transition to autumn.
✨ Workshop Details: 📅 Tomorrow (Saturday) at 2pm📍 Old Noarlunga💫 Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Surya Namaskar, om chant 📿 and Pitta Tea Ritual
Annie and I will graciously guide you through the final seasonal workshop of the year, where we’ll dive into the Ayurvedic principles of the Pitta season. We’ll flow through Surya Namaskar, accompanied by the mantra associated with each posture and harmonium played with love by Tina🌸 (Kirtan on the Coast)
As part of the workshop, we’ll gather in sacred community to share a Pitta Tea ritual, sip nourishing tea from handmade ceramic vessels, and enjoy some delicious Chai Chia Puddings. 🧡
🌿 Why Mindful Eating and Drinking in Pitta Season:Being fully present with your meals, savoring each flavor and texture, can help reduce the risk of overeating during the heat of summer. When you sip your tea from a handmade clay vessel, practice Anjali—taking mindful sips with cupped hands, in reverence for yourself, all sentient beings, and the world. This gesture, rooted in the Anjali Mudra, brings peace to the moment and allows you to fully tune into your body’s signals, ensuring nourishment without excess. 🙏
🌞 If you’re not yet booked in but would like to join, there may be a cheeky last-minute spot available! Message us to check in. We can’t wait to share this beautiful practice with you.
