🌟 History of Cara Series: Exploring Our Rich History, Greg Box 🌟

Greg Box was appointed as Cara’s first Chief Executive Officer in 1994 and held the role for 16 years, retiring in July 2010.

Greg’s leadership was defined by humility, integrity, and a heartfelt commitment to people with disability. He guided Cara through a period of innovation and transformation, positioning us as a leading provider of disability accommodation and respite services in South Australia.

💬 Greg once reflected:
"It’s not often that one gets the opportunity to lead such a diverse organisation at a time of great change and growth, an organisation which has been built on a long and outstanding reputation of service within the South Australian community."

Greg remains highly respected across the disability sector and gave generously of his time to support its development. Cara was privileged to have his leadership during such a pivotal era.
