REMINDER: Medical indemnity insurer Miga awards Doctors who are members, with 5 Risk Management points if they undergo a comprehensive health check with us at doctors' health.

Achieving a total of 10 Risk Management points, rewards MIGA members with a significant 10% premium discount on their annual premium. We know prevention is better than cure and we hope to see many doctors take full advantage of this.

If you are a registered doctor or medical student and do not have your own doctor, the not-for-profit DHSA after-hours clinic is a convenient first point of call.

We have a team of experienced GPs working on a casual basis at the clinic. They possess a very broad range of clinical skills in general practice, mental health, contraception, women’s health and primary care…. i.e. anything!

We encourage doctors and medical students without a doctor to raise any immediate areas of concern, and also to have a comprehensive check-up (we will help you to find a GP of choice for your on-going medical care).

Calling all Limestone Coast doctors & medical students!

DHSA Medical Director, Dr Roger Sexton is hosting a "Healthy Doctors" Dinner at The Barn, Mount Gambier on Wednesday 15 October 2025.

It is a special evening where doctors and medical students based in the Limestone Coast can spend an evening focussing on their own health, share strategies for managing a busy rural medical professional life and enjoy seeing colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.

This is a FREE event due to the generous support of a Country SA PHN grant, and you can register by emailing megan.galpin@doctorshealthsa.com.au.

Many of these evenings have been hosted by Doctors' Health SA over the past years with the support of Country SA PHN and they have been hugely successful and fill up fast. We hope to see you there!

As we near the end of the financial year, we seek your support to contribute to the wonderful service that Doctors' Health SA offers fellow medical colleagues and to the future of medicine, our medical students.

Often we are asked about how can doctors can support colleagues through a donation to Doctors' Health SA. Some of our doctor-patients ask because they have attended the Clinic or a Program of which they have highly valued and wanted to make sure a colleague could also access support for their own health care and wellbeing.
