                                            ATTENTION GINLOVERS!
One of us will soon be celebrating a birthday!!!!!! Yay!!!!
We hope to be smiling all day long (and drinking gin)
BUT... what if you were so ashamed of your bad teeth... that you never dared to smile again...
Simply cos you couldnt afford to see a dentist!!
There is a "thing" called the The Community Outreach Dental Program provided by the Dental School at The University of Adelaide.
Simply put - they look after the dental health of those in our community who cant afford to...
SO.... Instead of taking 60 seconds out of your day to write us a Happy Birthday message... will you PLEASE click on this link and donate some bucks ($5, $3, $50... the value is irrelevant... but by donating SOMETHING, you are helping)
Remember that toothache that woke you up at 3am... imagine you couldnt afford to see your dentist the next day and get it sorted!
Remember that hideous chip you got on your front tooth, you looked like something from Mad Max... well, 3 years later, you still have it!
Remember that day people kept offering you mints... it turned out you had death breath from a bit of decay... Yup... No cash= No dentist = Death Breath!
Good oral health is not a luxury, it is a basic human right.
Please, Please, Please support these guys!
We ❤ you longtime!
Driven by the Adelaide Dental School, the Community Outreach Dental Program attends to hundreds of patients—and provides our dental and oral health students an additional 1040 clinical hours—every year.
The program’s dental clinic was launched in September 2011, and operates weekdays within the Light Square Common Ground complex in Adelaide’s West End, which also provides accommodation and a range of other services for the homeless community.
Many University of Adelaide staff, students, private dentists and allied health professionals volunteer their time to provide this valuable service.
