As a Mum of 3 and through various experiences I saw the miraculous event of Pregnancy, what is meant to be EXHILARATING! EXCITING! JOYOUS! ...being treated so thriftily in the Ultrasound Room. Understandably there are thousands of new patients a day and Diagnostics is absolutely necessary BUT something was lacking that we so desperately wanted to conserve....the satisfied feeling of watching, enjoying, capturing and keeping those precious bonding moments!
We saw the desperate need for parents and loved ones to view their babies in a relaxed, non clinical environment where they could enjoy those precious moments with ample time, view the baby clearly and know they could keep the entire scan for themselves with 100% parental rights to their images and videos.
I think you know what I mean right? Being rushed in and out in 15 minutes, another statistic, looking over at your partners dazzled stare...’Is that a head or butt?’..‘Kick or a Punch?’ ...’wait is it finished already?’ Suddenly over and your left wondering if you could just stay a few minutes more, perhaps replay the footage?! That craving to hold onto what you’ve just experienced, a precious reminder of your pregnancy...baby bonding keepsakes!
I personally felt that craving with my 3 children to see what bubs was doing in there and wanting to hold those memories forever, after all, this was my first glimpse of what my babies were like, I’ll never forget that excitement!
With patience, research and the love and support of my husband, family, friends and the community we decided to offer Babyview Bonding Experiences that parents and their loved ones could treasure for life times.
Starting in Port Lincoln South Australia in 2010, we offered a Mobile Service to Regional Communities, especially where Ultrasound Services were unavailable.
In 2013 our services moved to Adelaide City while traveling to and supporting Regional South Australia.
In 2018 we established a fantastic networking relationship with South Australia’s Premium Maternity Newborn and Family Photographer Sonia Lee Photography!
We now offer iLive Realtime Ultrasound and Maternity/Newborn/Family Portrait Packages that you will treasure for many years to come!
