Our participants have been having a wonderful time this week connecting with our friendly farm animals here at Windamere Park 🐮🦆🐐

Through our animal care program our participants are learning all about responsibility and compassion, from feeding and watering to cleaning pens and collecting eggs 🐔 These hands-on experiences help build empathy, confidence, and important life skills 🐑

We feel so grateful to offer such meaningful and enjoyable opportunities for everyone to connect with animals and nature at Windamere Park 💙

We are excited to share that Windamere Park will be hosting our very own Halloween Spooktacular event next Friday 31st October! 🎃🕸️🕷️

There will be prizes for best dressed so we encourage our participants to come dressed in their favourite Halloween costume! 👻

It's sure to be a wonderful day with lots of dancing and fun activities! 🕺💙

Today is a very special day at Windamere Park as we all gather together to celebrate the life of Terence 💙

Terence was a much loved member of our Windamere community for over 19 years and dearly loved by both participants and staff. We thank the wonderful B Boppa Loo Loo's for generously donating her time to perform at our disco in honour of Terence (who absolutely loved to have a boogie! 🕺)

Our participants have been putting their kitchen skills to the test, making a delicious pot of hearty vegetable soup while the weather is still cool! 🍲👨‍🍳

Through our cooking program, participants are learning to create tasty, nutritious dishes while also building confidence, independence, and practical life skills 💙 Cooking together fosters teamwork, communication, and a real sense of accomplishment - one delicious dish at a time!

Our participants have been loving the outdoors this week, staying active and enjoying every moment! With our wide open spaces, there’s plenty of room for walking together as a group, kicking the footy, and playing soccer - all while building healthy habits, teamwork, and having fun! ⚽🏉😄
