Today our participants enjoyed a fun fishing session down at our Wetlands, making the most of the beautiful weather we’ve been having 🎣

Windamere Park’s unique outdoor environment allows us to offer hands on activities like fishing, giving participants the opportunity to try new things! 🌿

Fishing is a fantastic activity that supports patience, focus, and fine motor skills, while also encouraging social connection and shared experiences. We’re very lucky to be able to offer activities like this, and it’s always wonderful to see how much our participants enjoy them! 💙

Happy Tuesday Everyone! 🌻

Over the weekend, we enjoyed a wonderful Healthy Living Stay at Windamere Park. Participants explored healthy living through shared meals, gentle movement, relaxation, and time spent with friends. There was plenty of laughter and great connection throughout the stay 😃

Participants enjoyed community outings together including a visit to the Gulf View Picnic Area at Para Wirra National Park. Bush walks, the nature playground, and a relaxed BBQ made for a great day. On Sunday, the group visited Yitpi Yartapuultiku at Port Adelaide, where everyone had a fantastic time learning and exploring together 🍃

The weekend supported independent living skills such as daily routines, teamwork and caring for shared spaces. It was also a chance to build confidence, friendships, and enjoy time away with peers and staff 💙

Through our Art program they explore different techniques and discover new ways to express themselves. It’s all about creativity, confidence, and having fun! 😊

We have plenty of activities designed to help keep our participants fit, active, and learning about healthy lifestyles in a fun and engaging way. From soccer and footy to bike riding, there’s always something happening to get everyone moving and enjoying themselves! ⚽🚴

With so much open space available, we’re lucky to be able to offer a variety of outdoor activities that support physical wellbeing, confidence, and teamwork, all while having fun together at Windamere Park 🌿

Our participants have been busy in the Animal Care Program spending time with our geese and goats, making sure they’re well‑fed, happy, and their water troughs are fresh and clean🪿🐐

Caring for these cheeky characters teaches responsibility, routine, and confidence... and with their big personalities, there’s always plenty of fun and laughter along the way! 💙

Last weekend we held our Cultural Festival Weekend Stay, and our participants had an incredible time exploring traditions from different cultures through cooking, craft, and creative activities 🌏✨

There were plenty of laughs as everyone enjoyed time on the farm, joined in group activities, and headed out to Club Cool for live music and dancing! 🎶💛

These weekend stays are a great way for participants to build friendships, grow their independence, and try new experiences in a supportive and fun environment 💙
