🍂 Lazy Sunday 🍂

Honouring what my body needs today… even if that means slowing down at midday, sitting in bed, snuggling up to Barney and reading a book. (Unheard of 😏)

As l share in yoga class, when we listen to our body instead of pushing ourselves, something shifts — you gain a sense of more clarity, more energy, more ease.

Rest isn’t unproductive, it’s restorative. And when we honour ourselves first, we have so much more to give to the world around us and to those most precious to us 💞

So........ If like me you feel like you need to take time out, give yourself permission to do it! You will feel so happy and your body will thank you for it too. 🙏🏻

Today is World Health Day 🌿

This year’s theme, “Together for health. Stand with science,” reminds us that true wellbeing is supported by both connection and evidence-based care.

Did anyone see this beautiful moon this morning? 🌕💗

The Pink Moon was setting just as the sun was rising, and even though the moon itself wasn’t pink, the sky around it was… soft, glowing shades of pink stretching across the morning sky.

It's one of those moments where it takes my breath away and l'm in total awe of nature.

Such a beautiful way to begin the day ✨

Throat Chakra – Vishuddha 💙

The throat chakra is all about communication and self-expression. It’s the space where your inner truth finds its voice.

When this chakra feels balanced, you’re able to speak honestly, listen deeply, and express yourself with clarity and confidence.

When it’s out of balance, you might find it hard to say what you really feel… or even feel unheard.

Nurturing your throat chakra is about giving yourself permission to be seen, heard, and understood — just as you are.

Hormone Harmony & Wellness Yoga 🌸

Vrikasana, or Tree Pose 🌳, is one of my favourite poses to practise. I love how it reflects the graceful, steady stance of a tree… and sometimes, a tree gently swaying in the wind 😊

When we practise Tree Pose, it invites us to slow down and become more mindful. It helps us connect more deeply with our body, appreciate what it can do, and honour its limitations. From that place, we cultivate gratitude — and the opportunity to grow and flourish 🌿

Last night in class we added another little layer to this balance pose… standing on a block. These beautiful souls have been practising for some time now, and it’s wonderful to see their confidence, strength and balance continuing to grow.🩷

Tree Pose reminds us that when we root down and steady ourselves, we often leave the pose feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and beautifully centred. 🌿
