ECH Social (Lunch) Clubs are expanding across metropolitan Adelaide! Join us for a delicious meal and wonderful conversation with others in your community.

đź“ŚBefore the Heat:
-Stock up on groceries and medications
-Check your fan or air conditioner is working
-Have a backup plan if power fails
-Keep your emergency contacts handy

🏠Stay Cool Indoors:
-Close curtains and blinds early morning
-Use wet towels on neck/wrists to cool down
-Move to the coolest room in your house
-Take cool (not cold) showers when needed

đź’§Stay Hydrated:
-Don't wait until you're thirsty
-Keep water bottles in every room
-Avoid caffeine and alcohol
-Eat light, cool meals

Meet the heartwarming heroes behind our Trauma Teddies. 🧸

The Winzor Knitters and Cumby Crew have lovingly handmade over 2,200 Trauma Teddies for children facing life's most frightening moments.
đź’™ Donated to ambulance services, emergency departments, CFS, Red Cross, and police across SA
đź’™ Each bear brings comfort when children need it most
đź’™ Members range from Lily (100 years old!) to dedicated volunteers like Maeve, who found healing and purpose through knitting

As one paramedic shared: "When we get a distressed child and give them a teddy, it makes all the difference in the world."
