My intentional morning routine. Because how you start your day, is how you live your life.
5am-7am Large intestine time.
I wake up gently between 6-7am
No phone.
Just a few deep breaths and morning gratitude before getting out of bed.
A big glass of warm water to gently wake up my digestion.
Followed by 10-30 minutes of light movement, walking, stretching, Qi-Gong. Nothing extreme just moving my Qi.
It’s large intestine time, so it is now time to go to the toilet and use my bowels (the big glass of warm water helps).
Time for a Shower, my affirmations and to slowly get dressed and ready for the day.
7-9am Stomach time.
I always like to eat breakfast within 1 hour of waking up and prioritising a warm savoury breakfast with protein. Usually something like congee, 3 eggs and greens. Comment CONGEE for my recipe.
No chaos.
No cortisol spikes.
This routine isn’t about being perfect it’s about creating a morning that supports my nervous system, my hormones, and my energy.
