Running Assessments - Podiatry Student Internship 🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️

Last night Podiatrists Joe & Mel hosted an interactive evening for third and final year Adelaide University podiatry students 🙌🏻

The session covered assessments and hands-on running analysis using our Zebris treadmill, giving students experience they can bring straight into clinic.

A huge thank you to Ezra and Harry for jumping on the treadmill. Legends! 🏃

Supporting students through uni is something we have a big heart for. We want every graduate stepping into practice to feel confident and capable.

To all the students who attended - thank you. You brought fresh energy and curiosity, and we can’t wait to see where your careers take you 🤗

Hello final year Podiatry students 👋🏻

Hi I’m Melissa Zacharia. I’ve been a podiatrist for 15 years, and I still remember being a final year student… and a nervous new grad.

At uni? 3 clients in a morning.
First day as a grad? 18 patients. My first client wanted nail care, callus treatment, an orthotic re-cover and a diabetes foot assessment 😅

Confidence doesn’t magically appear when you graduate. It’s formed with the right support, clinical exposure, and people who genuinely have your back and want you to succeed.

That’s why we created our 2026 Final Year Podiatry Internship at Pod Fit Podiatry ✨

We’re opening 6 positions for final year students who don’t just want to finish their degree - they want to feel ready!

What you’ll get:

Get your thinking caps on! This week, our senior athletes will work within their age groups to select their events.
✅ Athletes must choose 2 track 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ and 2 field 🏹 events
⭐ This is your chance to select events that will help you qualify for SICs
📋 All selected events will need to be approved by our coaches to ensure the day runs smoothly and everyone gets the best opportunity to compete.
Let’s plan smart and set ourselves up for success! 💪🔥
