Microneedling alone creates channels.

What you place into those channels determines outcome.

Toskani mesotherapy formulations are designed to deliver targeted actives into the dermis to address specific concerns such as:

• Dermal thinning
• Fine lines
• Pigmentation
• Dehydration
• Acne scarring
• Loss of elasticity

Microneedling induces controlled micro injury to stimulate collagen production.
Mesotherapy introduces bioactive ingredients that support cellular repair, hydration and regeneration at depth.

But not all meso cocktails are equal.

Concentration matters.
Molecular weight matters.
Indication specific selection matters.

Using the wrong formulation can lead to inflammation without benefit.
Using a generic protocol leads to generic results.

At Elara, Toskani meso microneedling is prescribed based on dermal thickness, inflammatory load and long term skin strategy. Depth, needle configuration and product selection are adjusted for each patient.

Because regeneration is not about puncturing the skin.
It is about directing repair intelligently.

The studies said it, we didn’t! 👀

Ladies, consider this your official sign to subtly forward the message. Because let’s be honest… he’s not following us. You are.

If you’re not into last-minute flowers and panic-buy chocolates, this is your alternative: something considered, luxurious, and actually used. A spa experience is the kind of gift that feels personal without needing a size, a style, or a receipt.

Tip: send him this post as a hint.
(And if he needs help choosing, we’re very happy to guide.)

We finally had to jump onto this trend, and we loved it!

If you’re an Elara client, you deserve to know exactly what we stand for… and what we’re not here for. Consider this our little line in the sand: the habits, shortcuts and trends we’re politely opting out of in 2026.

Save this as your reminder, and tag the friend who needs to retire a few habits this year.

We’re asked this constantly ↓

“Which Elara treatments are pregnancy-safe?”

So we’ve compiled a clear list of our pregnancy-safe options, because you shouldn’t have to go through this stage alone. If you’re expecting (or planning), this is the kind of clarity you deserve.

That said, the most sensible place to start is always a consultation. Skin can shift quickly, preferences change, and suitability is personal, so we’ll guide you toward the right pregnancy-safe pathway with comfort, discretion, and confidence.

Save this post, and send it to someone who’s currently asking the same questions.

If your skin has suddenly stopped behaving like it used to — save this.

When your skin is “changing seasons”, the worst thing you can do is look for answers on tik tok, overcorrect, or copy someone else’s routine. This is your sign to swap trial-and-error for a plan that actually fits where your skin is right now, and come to Burnside to visit Elara!

Comment below if skin has been doing the most lately, because ours definitely has!

By “punish”, I mean scrubbing harder when you break out, piling on actives when you’re irritated, switching products weekly out of frustration, or booking the most intense treatment because you want a fast fix. It feels productive in the moment, but often it’s the exact thing that keeps skin reactive, inflamed, and unpredictable.

Great skin is rarely the result of doing the most. It’s usually the result of doing what your skin can actually tolerate, consistently, with enough time to settle. Support first. Then refine.

If your acne won’t shift, there’s a good chance it’s not “bad skin”, it’s a few common habits working against you.

What you might be doing wrong:

1) Over-cleansing
Try: gentle cleanse 1-2x daily, not “until it feels squeaky”.

2) Treating acne like it needs to be dried out
Try: balance actives with hydration + barrier support.

3) Exfoliating too frequently
Try: reduce frequency and prioritise tolerance.

4) Switching products too quickly
Try: commit to a routine long enough to assess properly.

5) Using too many actives at once
Try: simplify, one active strategy at a time.

6) Picking, squeezing, “just this one”
Try: hands off + professional extractions only when appropriate.

7) Chasing advice that isn’t for your acne type
Try: choose a plan based on your patterns, not trends.

8) Ignoring the basics
Try: build the base, treatments work better when your body isn’t running on empty.

9) Skipping professional assessment
Try: start with a consultation before any investments.

If this list feels a little too personal, save it, and start by changing just one thing this week.

If your acne has come back as an adult, it can feel unfair, especially if you “did everything right” and left it behind in your teens. But adult acne isn’t just teenage acne returning. It often behaves differently, responds differently, and needs a different strategy.

Teenage acne is commonly driven by increased oil production during puberty and the way that oil and dead skin cells can congest pores. Adult acne, on the other hand, is more likely to be influenced by a combination of hormonal fluctuations, stress and inflammation, lifestyle pressures, and skin barrier disruption. That’s why the routines that once worked, harsh cleansers, drying spot treatments, aggressive exfoliation, can suddenly make things worse. When the barrier is compromised, skin can become more reactive, more inflamed, and more unpredictable, even if you’re being consistent.

There’s also the “life season” factor. Changes like coming off or starting hormonal contraception, perimenopause, postpartum shifts, high stress periods, poor sleep, travel, and even environmental stressors (heat, aircon, humidity) can all shift how skin behaves. Many adults also experience acne differently in where it sits, often around the jawline, chin, and lower face, and it can feel deeper, more tender, and slower to settle than the breakouts of adolescence.

The frustrating part? Adult acne often comes with competing concerns: dehydration, sensitivity, pigmentation, redness, early signs of ageing, all at once. Which means “throwing acne products at it” isn’t always the answer. In many cases, the work is about calming inflammation, supporting the barrier, and selecting a plan that respects what your skin can tolerate, rather than trying to strip everything back and “dry it out.”

At Elara, we approach adult acne the way it deserves to be approached: with assessment first. We look at the patterns, triggers, tolerance, and your skin’s overall condition, then guide an evidence-informed pathway that fits your skin and lifestyle. Because when acne returns as an adult, it usually isn’t a sign you’ve failed, it’s a sign your skin needs a new approach, not more effort.

MUMS! If your teen has started breaking out, this is your reminder: it’s not a hygiene issue, diet issue, and it’s definitely not a character flaw.

Puberty can change skin quickly, and the most helpful thing a parent can do is replace blame with a plan. Bring them with you to your next Elara visit, or book them in directly, we’ll take the pressure off and guide what’s appropriate, step by step.

Our team are brilliant with teens and will quickly become their safe space for all things acne. Start with a skin consultation, and choose a plan, based on what their skin is actually doing.

Because remember, we're the experts when it comes to this! 🫶
