Your mental health shapes how you feel, think and handle life’s ups and downs. That’s why it’s essential to take care of it so you’re able to face the challenges that come with everyday life.✨
Alex, the clinical psychologist, has seen 1000’s of clients and helped them through their hardest challenges. Here’s five strategies she recommends to help make sure you maintain good mental well-being. 🪄
Practice mindfulness - take a few moments each day to focus on your breathing or engage in meditation. It helps to center your thoughts and reduce stress.
Stay physically active - exercise releases endorphins, which naturally boost your mood. Even a short walk can do wonders for mental clarity.
Maintain social connections - reach out to friends or family. Strong social connections are vital for emotional support and overall well-being.
Prioritise sleep - a good night’s rest can improve both your mood and your ability to handle stress. Aim for 7 - 9 hours of quality sleep each night.
Seek support when needed - it’s okay to ask for help. Talking to a professional can provide a new perspective and guidance.
Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. 🫶🏽
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need someone to talk to, we’re here to help. 💫

Did you know that around 1,815 women in Australia are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year? 👇🏼
Unfortunately, most cases are found at an advanced stage, making treatment more difficult. This is in part due to poor awareness around this issue.⚡️
Ovarian cancer can be difficult to detect early because symptoms are often vague or mistaken for other common issues. There are some signs though to watch out for! These signs include:
- Persistent bloating
- Abdominal or pelvic pain
- Feeling full quickly or difficulty eating
- Unexplained weight changes
- Changes in menstrual patterns or postmenopausal bleeding
There’s no routine screening for ovarian cancer, so it’s important to listen to your body. If something doesn’t feel right, trust yourself and see your doctor!! 👩⚕️
Whatever you need, whenever you need, we are happy to help! 🫶🏽
