Well, the outdoor office desk I set up has been great. I get all sorts of visitors! 🌈

Two rainbow lorikeets dropped by when I was prepping my Friday clients last week. Apparently, our deck is the place to be. I can see Kookaburras and hear Koalas too. Not bad!

Case Study: A 20-year-old woman came to see me after experiencing daily nausea and vomiting for over a year. The symptoms would hit straight after meals and were significantly worse during stressful periods. 😰

Rather than diving into complex protocols, I started with the fundamentals: breathing.

I taught her simple deep breathing techniques before meals to help her nervous system shift out of stress mode. When we're stressed, our body suppresses stomach acid production—we literally can't digest properly when we're in fight-or-flight.

The results?

Month 1: Significantly less nausea, no vomiting
Month 2: Nausea completely resolved

This is a perfect reminder that we can't discount the basics. Sometimes the most effective intervention isn't the most complicated one. Before reaching for supplements or restrictive diets, ask yourself: Am I actually in a state where my body can digest food properly?

Your nervous system controls your digestive system. Getting that right first can change everything.
