This week is NATIONAL PAIN WEEK.

Chronic pain impacts 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 4 children. Chronic pain has a huge impact on people's lives and costs the economy over $140 billion a year (and rising). Chronic pain treatment and management are severely underfunded.

Pain is an invisible condition, often leaving people feeling isolated, as health professionals, family, and decision makers don't understand the extent and impact of the pain being experienced. The vicious cycle of pain significantly impacts the mental health of people living with chronic pain.
