I’d like to take a moment to explain why we have a 24-hour cancellation policy and why a fee applies if you don’t show up or if we aren’t given enough notice to offer the appointment to someone else. This has come up recently as we’ve had a number of last-minute cancellations on the day of appointments.
As a small business with families to support, every appointment matters. When a client doesn’t attend their booking, we lose that time and the income it would have provided, and we still incur costs such as rent and utilities. Our cancellation fee helps cover these losses and ensures we can continue operating sustainably. This policy is clearly communicated in our reminder messages and is fully compliant with industry guidelines.
We kindly ask that you keep this in mind when booking and in the lead-up to your appointment. If you do need to cancel or reschedule, please try to do so more than 24 hours in advance so we have a chance to offer the spot to another client.
