A bit of a disappointing result in this study that showed that people were aware that exercise helped with their back pain but weren’t committed to doing the exercises in the long term to prevent recurrence🤷🏻‍♂️

Lower back pain is a leading cause of disability around the world. Now an Australian study has found people suffering from it aren't doing the right exercise programs to reduce it.

This study confirms what we already know
The vast majority of ACL injuries in soccer are non contact
What I did find interesting was the injuries mainly occurred whilst defending, in the first half of the game and in dry conditions

Like the rest of the world, I’ve been forced to stay at home too.
Therefore my spare room has been converted into a home gym
I’ve taken the opportunity of using the downtime to work on my own strength and conditioning. This is something I’ve never done with any great conviction before but after 40 days of daily sessions I must admit that I’m feeling stronger and better than ever. I’ve been able to rehab all the annoying “niggles” that I’ve battled throughout the years.
I still prefer to go out for a run but this is something I’ll continue to maintain from now onwards

Everyone is trying to do the right thing and exercise at home. Many of us (myself included) will see this as an opportunity to build strength and fitness. Unfortunately this article completely deflates that idea. At least the author of the article was honest!!😞
