At our Paradise, Campbelltown, Ingle Farm, and Morphett Vale locations, we marked Aged Care Employee Day with a heartfelt thank you to our incredible team. 🍕 Staff enjoyed a catered lunch from gourmet woodfire pizza trucks, while photo booths brought smiles to employees, residents, and visitors alike 📸.
Each employee also received a high-quality embroidered cooler bag - a practical gift to keep lunches fresh and energy levels high every day. 💼✨

On ANZAC Day, we solemnly honour and express our profound gratitude to the servicemen and women who have dedicated themselves to defending our nation and upholding our freedoms. This day provides an opportunity for all Australians to reflect on the enduring impact of the World Wars and subsequent conflicts—not only on our own lives, but also on the lives of our families, friends, and communities.

We also take this time to remember the significant sacrifices made by all who have served, including the animals who played vital roles alongside our forces. ANZAC Day stands as a national occasion to commemorate the courage, service, and sacrifice of generations, and to acknowledge the ongoing legacy of those who have given so much in the cause of peace and security.

Warrina Homes recently hosted a Clinical Forum Day designed to equip clinicians with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the forthcoming changes in the New Aged Care Act and Standards.

The event highlighted two pivotal themes:

1. Aged Care Leadership Journey - This segment explored the evolving role of leadership within the aged care sector, focusing on strategies for effective leadership, adapting to regulatory reforms, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in care delivery. Strong leadership was emphasised as a cornerstone for ensuring high-quality care, promoting staff development, and enhancing organisational resilience amidst regulatory changes.

2. Importance of Clinical Governance - This session underscored the critical role of clinical governance in delivering safe and high-quality care for residents. It emphasised the establishment of robust policies, procedures, and accountability frameworks to meet care standards. Clinical governance was presented as essential for risk management, evidence-based practices, and continuous quality improvement, aligning with the new Aged Care Standards.

This forum provided valuable insights into preparing aged care professionals for upcoming reforms while fostering excellence in care delivery and organisational practices.
