Job Title: Chiropractic Assistant (Casual potential for full-time)
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (split shifts required), with potential to transition to full-time

Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Chiropractic Assistant to join our team as a casual, possibly transitioning to full-time at the end of the year. This role supports our chiropractor in delivering exceptional patient care while contributing to the smooth operation of our practice. Our ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, a background in physical fitness (preferred), and a creative flair for developing social media content. Flexibility to work split shifts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist chiropractors with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and supporting patients during appointments.

Greet and check in patients, manage scheduling, and handle basic administrative tasks.

Develop engaging social media content to promote our services and connect with our community.

Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and welcoming clinic environment.

Provide excellent customer service to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications:

A background in physical fitness or related fields is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable using social media platforms and creating content (experience a bonus but not required).

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to handle light physical tasks, including cleaning and assisting with patient setup.

Availability and willingness to work split shifts as required.

Schedule:
Casual, up to 20 hours per week, potentially becoming full-time based on clinic needs and performance. This position requires split shifts (e.g., morning and afternoon/evening sessions) to accommodate clinic hours and patient needs.

🚨 New Owner Alert 🚨

“You’re doing it backwards.”

That’s what I keep hearing from everyone who learns that I moved from sunny Queensland to Adelaide.

I get it, though. I definitely get it. Now, in the dead of winter with the temperature dropping and rain seemingly everyday. I guess it’s natural to want to move North.

Yet, here I am!

Here I am in this stunning midsized metropolis living equidistant between the rolling hills of wine country and some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen.

Here I am taking over as new owner of this great health clinic filled with patients whose hearts are both happy and heavy that their care providers are embarking on a holiday of a lifetime. I’ve been in the clinic this week and the mutual love is palpable.

So, here I am, not even attempting to be their replacement, but ready to give and serve the same as I have for the last 20 years as a chiro.

I’ve performed over 150,000 treatments in my lifetime. There’s not much I haven’t seen. It’s a point of pride for me that I’ve been able to do this for so long. I hope that inspires some confidence in your new chiro. I do realise the trust will come later.

Anyway, that’s enough about me. I’m looking forward to meeting YOU! I’m on deck from Monday July 1. See you soon!

MARK & ELLIE ARE LEAVING ! 🚗☀️
As of July, Mark and Ellie will be leaving myHUB to start their adventure of a lifetime! We want to thank you for your support of myCHIRO and myHUB over the last 8 years, it could not be possible without you.
The sale of myHUB attracted many offers and we decided the new incoming owner, Jonathan Masak would be the perfect fit. He comes with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years and has previously owned Mackay chiropractic. Aligning with our fitness philosophy, Jonathan has a CrossFit coaching background and also shares a passion for golf.
We are confident Jonathan will look after you with the same level of care that you have been accustomed to from Mark and Ellie. He will bring new ideas that will revitalise the clinic but he will maintain the fundamentals that have made myHUB the clinic it is today. All services including remedial massage with Nicky, Hijama cupping with .hijama and Pilates services will remain the same.
Again, we want to thank you for your support of our small clinic and we will miss everyone.
