The future of Exercise Physiology (EP) in the NDIS is at stake — and that could mean losing access to the supports so many rely on.
🗣️ Your voice matters! Take 5 minutes to complete this survey and help protect EP services. The survey Is also for participants who access EP services to share their experiences and risks if access to EP services were removed.
ESSA are also seeking evidence and stories from participants so if you have time, please email us and we will submit to ESSA to use in their evidence with the Advisory Committee (deadline for this is Oct 16)

⚠️ If the Evidence Advisory Committee isn’t convinced that EP works, improves independence, and can’t be replaced by other services, EP may no longer be covered under NDIS.
⏰ survey Deadline: 9 November 2025 — don’t wait!
Exercise Physiologists play a vital role in helping people living with disability improve their health, independence, and quality of life through structured, evidence-based exercise programs.
The NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee is currently reviewing exercise physiology among the first group of disability support services under its new evaluation process.
Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is preparing a comprehensive submission to demonstrate the value and impact of exercise physiology in supporting people living with disability.
We’re calling on all Exercise Physiologists to share their insights, experiences, and evidence of impact. Your input will help ensure continued recognition and support for EP services within the NDIS.
