This May our PhysioXtra Rehab Centre team are joining the MAKE OR BREAK CHALLENGE!

This challenge centers around making a new habit or breaking a bad one for 21 days as it takes 21 days to create or break a habit!

We have chosen to create a new habit and participate in 20 minutes of physical activity every day which we all know with the weather getting cooler is definitely going to be a challenge some days!

Every dollar we raise as part of the PhysioXtra Team will go towards creating opportunities for disadvantaged and disengaged youth to develop the lifelong skills, habits and confidence to thrive - no matter their circumstances.

One of the Norwood Lokomat users, Rachel, is a para athlete. Although Rachel is a wheelchair user, she can run using a Connie Hansen Petra frame runner and started just three years ago. Rachel trains several times a week and loves to be out at the track with everyone. She is a proud member of the Northern Districts Athletics Club () and races every Friday night with the Little Athletics' crew.

Last month, para athlete Racy Rachel completed the 6km race of the annual City-to-Bay event here in Adelaide. It is the second time she has participated.

1,789 runners in the 6km race.
There were five frame runner para athletes in the 6km race.
Rachel was 68th runner (male and female combined); 18th female over the line and first frame runner.
Time: 28.12minutes.

Why didn't she wait for her running companion? She was going too slow.
How did Rachel feel afterward her run? Powerful.
