Services include Equine Assisted Therapy, Nature Based Therapy, and Outdoor Room Based Psychology. Offering services to:
- adults,
- teenagers,
- children over the age of 10 years. Session formats include:
- Individual sessions
- Group sessions
- Specialised workshops/programs

Our client types are:
- Private paying clients;
- Self-managed NDIS clients
- Medicare clients with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan for Medicare rebates;
- Private Health Insurance clients

🦷🐴 Dental Day at Nature’s Therapy Room 🐴🦷

Yesterday was dental day for Paddy, Toby, and Koko – and they were absolute superstars! ✨ A big shout-out to Dr Shaan from Vet Align Equine for the awesome mobile set-up and the gentle, compassionate care provided. 💙

It makes such a difference having the horses treated at home, in their own environment, without the stress of travelling. The boys were relaxed and happy throughout – and now they’ve got fresh, healthy smiles to show for it! 😁

Thank you, Dr Shaan, for helping keep our herd comfortable and cared for. 🌿🐴

A vet visit for Toby today for a sore and weeping eye. The green dye that you can see in the pic helps the vet to see any cuts or abscesses to the eye. Turns out he has a small, pin prick size injury. Is now receiving an eye ointment three times a day until healed. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery 🙏❤️‍🩹

Poor Paddy was lame this morning. He has developed an abscess in his hoof. After thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting his hoof a poultice and dressing has been applied. Fingers crossed the abscess will burst and clear in a day or so and he'll be as good as new 🙏

SESSIONS POSTPONED DUE TO POWERLINE ACROSS ROAD 🙁

I hope everyone stayed safe and unscathed from Cyclone Alfie 🙏

Our outdoors got hit pretty hard with a few trees down and debris everywhere. Lots of cleaning and chain sawing to be done. Sadly, the arena yard panelling had a tree limb fall onto it doing some significant damage. Fencing around the property will also need fixing.

We had 3 pumps running on the arena to drain off the water and prevent a landslip. Super grateful to Murray for managing this so successfully.

All the animals were super calm, dry and safe during the whole ordeal.

We also have a power line down in the street making access to the property difficult and potentially dangerous. It is with sadness, that I feel for the safety of everyone sessions need to be postponed until the power line is restored. We are hoping to have power back on Saturday night so I am guessing they will fix the line then.

I just love to see how the bond between Toby and Koko is growing ❤️. This is mutual grooming. The act of mutual grooming helps to build a bond and is a sign of affection. What a great way to end a long day 😍
