Practice makes…us feel like we are doing something special for ourselves. Any day is a good day to start.

Meditation is an ongoing process. It takes discipline; it takes commitment; it takes curiosity; it takes patience. It takes willingness to work with the unknown – and accepting that it’s never going to happen the way we expect, or the way we want it to.

More than anything, it’s about our effort. And when we’re consistently satisfied with that, it no longer becomes about trying to create a result. When we’re happy with our effort, and pleased with ourselves, we no longer feel the lack of not having the experience. That’s when the magic begins. And the paradox of the mystery reveals itself to us.

Winter is Here!
How is this season treating you so far? And how do you stay motivated to get up on those cold mornings and do ‘the doings’ of the day?
I wanted to share a book created and illustrated by a very creative woman, writer, artist, mother of 3 busy kids, Shelley Kampf to help you through the season of Winter and to find more connection and enjoy the essence of what Winter has to offer (yes, this cold season is full of offerings!). Titled Ancestral Echoes of Yule, Shelley’s book encourages family connection and celebration of the season of Winter via a range of activities. It is beautifully illustrated (all by Shelley) and full of information to help you develop your own family traditions around the coming of the Winter season. I’m in!!!

Connection is everything (pun intended) to our wellbeing and assists in developing a sense of belonging to ourselves, others and our environment. A book for those of you who love love love connecting, creativity and, love to celebrate seasons.

Hello community – loving this cooler weather but hoping the rain clears so the festival goers and organisers aren’t having a splendour-in-the-grass-mud-bath-experience this weekend!

Reaching out to say ~ hello ~ to the Agnes and wider community and to introduce my small business – My name is Donna and I am a certified Counsellor (ACA level 3) - offering independent NDIS Counselling and NDIS Support Work (supporting psychosocial challenges). I specialise in mental health and complex mental health challenges as well as relationship issues (personal, social, work place and family conflict and challenging behaviours).

I work with adults, children and families and focus on developing my client’s capacity of understanding their own experiences with mental health and explore ways that help them to improve self-awareness, communication, and design new coping skills.

Feeling like you don’t have management over your thoughts, behaviour and feelings can be really unsettling and has the potential of becoming a cycle of anxiety and depression and can cause conflict or fractures in your most important relationships.
