It’s been a while between s**t talking!

Women in the 90’s had ‘The Rachel’ haircut from Friends fame, and tweenage boys in the 2010’s had the iconic Justin Bieber bowl cut.

So what is left now for North Queensland bogans in their mid 30s?

Let me introduce to you the Papenhuyzen, made famous by the talented NRL fullback from the f*cking freezing covid capital.

Although I don’t want to be fickle with my loyalty to the Broncos (G’day Kevvy Walters if you’re readin’) I just couldn’t help but request nature’s Legionnaires cap last time I was at the Barbers. In fact the haircut almost makes me feel like I didn’t end my NRL career (by smooshing my knee in a C grade social touch football game).

Hi guys, Tai here.

Oprah once said, the biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.

For those of you who have been following me on my very own adventure, you will know that I have just achieved my life dream of gaining long service leave.

Many of you said I wouldn’t be able to do it. But throughout my drunk injuries, festival benders and my almost embarrassingly obvious fake sick days, I stayed focused. An ethereal vision of 2 months of straight barra fishing keeping me steadfast and strong.

However, I couldn’t have realised my dreams without the help of a higher power. A bigger force. For this, I really have to thank the big man upstairs (gday JD if you’re reading).

Please folks, never give up on your dreams. I lived and breathed mine. And now look at me, I managed to do sweet f**k all for 10 years straight- and get paid for it.

Hi guys,

Tai here. Thought I’d take some time out from my ketamine bender to thank each and every one of you for wishing me a happy birthday.

It hasn’t been an easy feat making it to my 30th year, however after overcoming several near overdoses and a couple of C Grade Touch Football injuries I have proved all those who doubted me wrong (here’s lookin at you Lui Rossi).

If I have learnt anything about life so far, it’s that it’s all about running your own race- so here’s a vid of me doing just that.

Hello everyone,
Hope youre all getting amongst the festivities, only 3 more days till Christmas! Although the silly season can keep me very busy, I like to take some time out to partake in yoga. With the numerous alcohol related injuries I have sustained over the years, it's very important for me to keep limber and remain active, this is where stretching helps!

Close your eyes for me now, think back to when you were just a little sprog in primary school. Specifically during wet season. Remember going to school, with wet shoes from the puddles and grass you had to walk through to get to class- and your overweight middle aged school teacher not letting you take your shoes off to dry. Instead you had to leave them on, and by the end of the day your feet resembled the prunes that your grandmother used to make you eat.

Well ladies and gentleman this is what happened to me on Friday night, except primary school was the pub and that bedraggled beast of an early childhood teacher was now an agitated Samoan bodyguard. Yes, being the fun-loving guy I am, I volunteered my footwear for a 'shoey', forgetting the consequences of wet shoes. Fearing that I would have to trek through the local nightclubs with feet as wet as a soldier's on the Kokoda trail, I turned to my friend Sam (an ideas guy) who eliminated the situation entirely- by throwing the shoe onto the roof of magnums. Shout out to Sam for solving my problem! Here is a video of me before he came to my rescue.

Well folks, here it is, the eve before the best game of the year. With Billy Slater recovering from his ankle injury and Ben Hunt being drafted in for the first time, this looks to be one for the books. But please folks, do as I do, and drink your responsibly. I often like to swap mine for the occasional to make sure I don't get too carried away, (I'd never want to break a bone or fall out of a tree or anything crazy like that). Anyway I'll stop beating around the bush, I thought I'd post my personal game plan for everyone to have a gander at. Enjoy and I'll see you all at shed bar!
