The Possibility in Our Emotions

In every room, someone is holding something heavy.

This week, it was me.

I said goodbye to my beautiful girl, a beloved member of my family, a loyal companion through so many seasons of my life.

The grief has been raw and deep. But within that pain, I’ve also found something powerful, the reminder that our emotions are not something to be fixed, but felt.

So often, we’re taught to push through. To hide what’s uncomfortable.

But emotions are messengers, not mistakes.

They show us what we care about, where we’re growing and what needs tending to.

What’s held me steady this week isn’t the absence of pain, but the foundation I’ve built through practice:

🧘‍♀️ Breathwork that grounds me.
📝 Journaling that gives shape to the swirl of thoughts.
🕯️ Meditation that softens the edges.
💬 Honest conversations that remind me I’m not alone.

These rituals haven’t made the sadness disappear, they’ve helped me stay with it without losing myself in it.

And that’s the possibility in our emotions, when we allow them to move through us instead of shutting them down, they create space.

- Space for empathy.
- Space for deeper connection.
- Space for authenticity, in life, in leadership, in the way we show up at work and at home.

Because emotional wellbeing isn’t just personal, it’s professional.

It’s the foundation of trust, creativity, and real human leadership.

So today, I’m honouring my emotions, all of them as powerful teachers.

When you make deliberate decisions to change your life, career, health, circumstances… you will change.

This can often bring discomfort because you will notice that even though you’ve changed, the world, environment, people around you won’t change and this is OK.

Your greatest strength comes from embracing this transformation when others question you, when it feels uncomfortable, when fear or doubt shows up.

Keep staying in alignment with what you desire and keep being intentional about your decisions…

Holidays have always been a beautiful time for reflection.
Space to slow down.
Space to breathe.
Space to ask the bigger questions we so often put on hold in the busyness of life.

But here’s the shift: we don’t need to wait for holidays to do this.

Years ago, I set an intention that holidays would become an extension of my everyday life, not the finish line I crawled toward, exhausted and depleted.

I decided I wanted every day to hold energy, health and joy not just the ones circled on a calendar.

And that’s the essence of possibility.
To design a life that sustains you daily, not one that you need to escape from.

So I’ll ask you:
What if you treated today as if it was part of your holiday?
What space, energy or joy could you give yourself right now?

📸 I’m enjoying a beautiful holiday in Bali at the moment.

3 signs you might be ready for your next chapter

Sometimes the universe gives us a nudge (or in this case… a high kick).

So how do you know it’s time to explore possibility?

These 3 signs come up again and again:

1. You’ve achieved what you once wanted… but it doesn’t light you up anymore.
2. You feel restless, like there’s something more calling, but can’t quite name it.
3. You’re craving impact to know your work and life are making a difference.

If any of these feel familiar, you’re likely standing at the edge of your next chapter.

And here’s the best part: you don’t have to leap (or kick!) alone.

That’s exactly what The Possibility Project is here for.

We create what we need

There’s a saying I’ve always believed in: we create what we need.

My new venture: The Possibility Project wasn’t born out of a business plan or a clever strategy.

It was born out of my own need to pause, to ask bigger questions and to step into what felt more aligned, more purposeful, more me.

I built it because I needed it.

When I finally gave myself that space, I uncovered energy I didn’t know I’d lost, ideas I’d been ignoring and a clarity that made everything else feel lighter.

And now, it exists for anyone who feels that same pull, that whisper of “there must be more.”

- Maybe it’s a career that no longer excites you.
- Maybe it’s a dream you’ve quietly shelved for years.
- Maybe it’s simply the desire to feel alive again.

This is your invitation to explore that with me.

Not someday. Not when things “settle down.”

But now. Because possibility begins the moment you give yourself permission to explore it.

If you would like to know more about The Possibility Project, message me for details.

Somewhere between then and now you chose where you are today.

The best bit is we get to choose over and over again.

Sometimes we get caught in the grind. We don’t know where to start or we have no ideas

Most of us don’t lack ideas.
We lack space.

Space to reflect.
Space to dream.
Space to ask: what if?

Here are 3 ways you can create that space this week:
- Take a micro-pause.
Five minutes without your phone. Just breathe, notice and see what comes up.
- Capture one idea a day.
Write it down, no matter how big, small or “impractical.” Possibility starts with noticing.
- Say it out loud.
Share an idea with someone you trust. Speaking it gives it life and energy.

This is how possibility begins. Small sparks, simple shifts, big ripple effects.

Hi, I’m Nat, a coach, facilitator and curator of the Possibility Project. Through The Possibility Project, I’m opening a space for professionals to pause, reflect and ask: what could be possible for me?

“When you are inspired by some great purpose… your mind transcends limitations.”

There was a time when I felt stuck and lacked purpose. My work looked “successful” on the outside, but inside I was running on empty.

What shifted everything? A side hustle. (As shown in the photo)
It gave me energy when I thought I had none.
It tapped into my creativity and reminded me who I was.
And unexpectedly, it made me show up to my day job with fresh purpose and joy.

And here’s the fascinating part, research backs this up.

A Harvard study found that people who align their work with purpose report:
- Less burnout
- More resilience
- Higher life satisfaction

But purpose doesn’t always come from your job title. Sometimes it’s the side project. The book idea. The space you give yourself to create.

That’s exactly what The Possibility Project is here for, a space to explore your possible and discover the spark you’ve been craving.

A photo of me back in 2018, exhibiting at a running event with my then side hustle Running Fit Box.

There’s a moment when a “what if” sneaks in.

A quiet nudge that says: maybe there’s more.

For years, I’ve believed everything is possible.
But possibility only shows up when we give ourselves space to explore it.

Most of us don’t:
- We get stuck in autopilot.
- Worried what others think.
- Waiting for the “perfect” time.

This photo is a possibility moment a few years ago that come true - my own wellness space
A dream I’d carried.
A thought that whispered: could this really be possible?
I said yes.

This is why I have curated The Possibility Project → a safe space to share ideas, explore your possible and spark the creativity you’ve been holding back.

No judgment.
No pressure.
Just space to imagine and act.

If you’ve ever thought:
👉 “Maybe I want to start that side hustle.”
👉 “Maybe it’s time to write that book.”
👉 “Maybe I’m ready for a career that lights me up.”

This is for you.

Due to interest and questions, I am hosting a short 30 minute lunch n learn to help kick start your possible. Join me Sept 15 for this FREE webinar.

Step into your possible. Say yes. See what comes next.

Write the story you want to live.

We often forget that we’re the authors of our own lives.

We let old chapters, expectations and fear of blank pages hold the pen.

But here’s the truth: the page is yours.

You get to choose the tone. The characters. The plot twists.

It doesn’t have to be a perfect story.

It just has to be your story.

So ask yourself:
👉 Are you living the story you’ve inherited?
👉 Or the one you truly want to write?

Because the moment you decide, the narrative changes.

And possibility begins.

The Possibility Project is Here...

For the ones who know there’s more.

More inside. More calling. More waiting.

But you’ve been stuck.

You’re the one who:
- Has a wild idea but keeps shelving it for “someday”
- Is successful on paper but feels off-track in soul
- Can’t shake the thought: this isn’t it

I see you...Because I was you.

I’ve doubted, failed, reimagined and rebuilt.

But the biggest shift?

I stopped waiting and started choosing possibility.

And now, I’ve built a program for the next chapter seekers.

The quietly brave. The ones done dimming.

The ones who know there’s more and are ready to step into it.

Introducing The Possibility Project

A transformational 4 week group program designed to help you:
➡️ Clarify what you really want
➡️ Break through indecision, self-doubt and autopilot
➡️ Create aligned action toward your next bold chapter
➡️ Be seen, supported and celebrated

You don’t have to overhaul your life.

You just need to say yes to the next step.

First cohort kicks off this October.

This is your early invite to get in.

Send me a message and I’ll send you the details.

Let’s make possibility your new normal.

The Quiet Transition

Sometimes the most powerful phases of life aren’t the big leaps, they’re the quiet ones.

The ones where you’re not rushing, not doing, not fixing… you’re simply being.

It’s the discomfort of not knowing exactly what’s next.

The patience to sit with uncertainty while something percolates beneath the surface.

A sense that change is stirring, even if it hasn’t yet arrived in full.

Over the years, I’ve come to know this as the possibility mindset, the mindset that reminds me: everything is possible.

But here’s the key: I get to choose my “possible”.

I need to lean in, explore and decide which possibilities I want to bring to life.

Transition phases can feel unsettling, but they’re fertile.

They’re where ideas grow, where clarity forms and where the next chapter begins to whisper to you.

So if you’re in that quiet, in-between space right now, leaning into uncertainty, unsure, yet curious, know this:

You are exactly where possibility begins.

Everything is possible. What’s your possible?

Hi, I’m Nat, a coach, facilitator and curator of the Possibility Project. I help people step off autopilot, explore what’s possible and create a life that feels aligned, expansive and intentional. The Possibility Project kicks off in October, join me for your possible.

5 Lessons from Closing a Chapter

5. Embody Your Future Self

The most powerful shift I’ve made in my own journey wasn’t just setting new goals, it was becoming the version of me who had already stepped into her next chapter.

Closing a chapter is never easy.

It asks you to let go of what’s familiar, to trust that your future self is waiting on the other side.

When I started living as her, I:
- Made the decisions she would make
- Set the boundaries she would hold
- Moved through life with the energy and confidence she carries
- Stopped waiting for change to happen...
..I became the change.

Every small, aligned action compounds.

Every moment you choose to live as that version of you pulls your vision closer, until one day, you’re fully living it.

Close the chapter with gratitude.

Step into the next one with courage.

Breathe it in. Believe it. Be it, unapologetically.

This is Me. Raising my Happiness

Before the reality of being a marathon running, business mum was even a sniff of a thought – I was a naive 32 year old woman who thought life as a mum wouldn’t be that tricky.

I would have my baby, take some time off and then return to work where I left off.

They say naivety is a beautiful thing and thank goodness that IT is such a thing, because god knows what dreams or ambitions I would’ve left on the table.

The reality of motherhood hit me square in the face, many times over but the true reality of how much of a juggle being a parent is was when I returned to work post maternity leave.
