My first triathlon was not the picture perfect event!

But it was a perfect lesson in moving through adversity.

Seeing my daughter watching me was all I needed to keep going even though I was struggling.

This is what my Marathon Mindset EBook is all about, helping you lean into the doubt, the pain, the juggle with courage and confidence on your terms.

You can purchase it via my bio. 📕

This video takes me straight back to one of the most profound moments of my life.

Crossing the finish line of the New York Marathon.

Not because of the race itself…
But because of what it showed me.

Up until then, I didn’t see myself as someone who could do something like that.

It couldn’t have been further from what I thought was remotely possible.

But somewhere along the way, that changed.

And standing there, I realised something I’ve carried with me ever since.

My potential is limitless. So is yours!

Watching the Boston Marathon this week brought that feeling back.

Not just the achievement.

But who you become in the pursuit of something that matters to you.

Because it’s not just about reaching the goal.

It’s how it changes you along the way.

This photo is a pretty honest reflection of what matters to me.

I never set out to be someone who talks about running marathons.
Or health.
Or helping others live their best life.

If anything, I’ve always just been focused on one person.

My daughter.

Choosing to take care of myself.
Choosing to go after what matters to me.
Choosing to live in a way that feels true.

Not to tell her how to live.

But to show her.

And somewhere along the way, I’ve realised something.

When you choose yourself in that way, it doesn’t stop with you.

People see it.

And something shifts.

Running has been a big part of that for me.

It’s shaped how I think, how I show up, and how I keep going when things feel hard.

I’ve recently pulled some of those lessons into a short Marathon Mindset ebook.

If you’re working towards something of your own, it might give you a place to start

Feeling vulnerable is part of our growth.

Making a change, pursing a goal or speaking our truth bring vulnerability.

Lean into it, it’s just a signal that is important to you.

What can you expect from the Marathon Mindset EBook?

This isn’t about pace, splits or how to run this is about the mindset behind the scenes that helps you become who you want to be in pursuit of your goals.

Take a listen and if you feel called I’d love you to take a read.

Running changed my life.

Not just in one way. In many.

It didn’t just change how I run. It changed what I believed was possible for me.

What started as a simple curiosity became a passion.

That passion shaped how I think, how I show up… and ultimately, the work I do today.

It taught me how to stay with something.

How to move through doubt.

How to back myself, even when I wasn’t sure I could.

And over time, I realised something.

The conversations I was having about running were never fully about running.

They were about goals.

About fear.

About that moment where someone says, “I’ve been thinking about it…”
but hasn’t quite decided yet.

That moment matters.

Because everything changes when you move from thinking… to doing.

Over the past few months, I’ve gone back into my archives and have brought together years of these experiences, running stories, lessons and conversations into something I wish I had when I first started.

My first EBook - Marathon Mindset

Yes, it’s built around running.

But it’s really about something bigger.

It’s about choosing something that stretches you.

Staying with it when it gets hard.

And becoming someone you didn’t quite believe you could be.

If you’re sitting on something right now: a goal, an idea, a next step, this is for you.

You can order my EBook through Amazon in kindle format.

For the last 20 years I have loved running.

Not just for the run itself,
but for what it asks of you.

Over the years, so many people have come to me about running.

Some wanting to start.
Some training for something bigger.
Some stuck somewhere in the middle, quietly questioning whether they can keep going.

And almost every conversation ends up in the same place.

Not training plans.
Not pace.

Mindset.

The moment where doubt creeps in.
Where motivation fades.
Where the question quietly surfaces…

Can I actually do this?

I’ve had those moments too. More than once.

And what I’ve come to understand is this:

Running isn’t what changes you.

It’s how you think while you’re doing it.

That’s what shapes whether you begin, whether you stay, and whether you finish.

I’ve been working on something around this.

I’ll share it soon.

Watch this space!

If it works, happiness.
If it doesn’t, you gain wisdom.

So why are you so afraid to start?

Most people aren’t scared of failing.

They’re scared of being seen trying.

But here’s what I know from marathon training, from leaving a career that looked “good on paper,” from every brave decision since:

You never leave a goal empty handed.

If it works, you build confidence.

If it doesn’t, you build depth.

Discernment.
Resilience.
Self-trust.

The only true loss is postponing the decision and staying exactly where you are.

We are lifelong learners whether we choose growth or not.

So the real question isn’t:

“What if it doesn’t work?”

It’s:

Who might you become if you tried?

Lately, I’ve been hearing a very specific kind of sentence.

“Things are working…
but they don’t feel as clear, energising or spacious as they used to.”

Nothing’s broken.
On the surface, life and work look fine.

But underneath, decisions feel heavier.
Your thinking feels narrower.
And there’s a quiet sense that what worked before isn’t quite enough for what’s next.

That’s often the moment people find their way to me.

Not because they want to overhaul everything but because a question won’t leave them alone.
An idea keeps resurfacing.
Or there’s a growing awareness that something wants to shift, even if the shape of it isn’t clear yet.

This is the work I’m most aligned to now.

Slowing things down enough to think properly again.
Creating space to understand what’s really going on.
Then taking small, grounded steps forward without burning it all down.

I help people move from restlessness to clarity and from clarity to action, calmly.

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not behind.
You’re paying attention.

And that’s usually where change begins.

This is Me. Raising my Happiness

Before the reality of being a marathon running, business mum was even a sniff of a thought – I was a naive 32 year old woman who thought life as a mum wouldn’t be that tricky.

I would have my baby, take some time off and then return to work where I left off.

They say naivety is a beautiful thing and thank goodness that IT is such a thing, because god knows what dreams or ambitions I would’ve left on the table.

The reality of motherhood hit me square in the face, many times over but the true reality of how much of a juggle being a parent is was when I returned to work post maternity leave.
