If it works, happiness.
If it doesn’t, you gain wisdom.

So why are you so afraid to start?

Most people aren’t scared of failing.

They’re scared of being seen trying.

But here’s what I know from marathon training, from leaving a career that looked “good on paper,” from every brave decision since:

You never leave a goal empty handed.

If it works, you build confidence.

If it doesn’t, you build depth.

Discernment.
Resilience.
Self-trust.

The only true loss is postponing the decision and staying exactly where you are.

We are lifelong learners whether we choose growth or not.

So the real question isn’t:

“What if it doesn’t work?”

It’s:

Who might you become if you tried?

Lately, I’ve been hearing a very specific kind of sentence.

“Things are working…
but they don’t feel as clear, energising or spacious as they used to.”

Nothing’s broken.
On the surface, life and work look fine.

But underneath, decisions feel heavier.
Your thinking feels narrower.
And there’s a quiet sense that what worked before isn’t quite enough for what’s next.

That’s often the moment people find their way to me.

Not because they want to overhaul everything but because a question won’t leave them alone.
An idea keeps resurfacing.
Or there’s a growing awareness that something wants to shift, even if the shape of it isn’t clear yet.

This is the work I’m most aligned to now.

Slowing things down enough to think properly again.
Creating space to understand what’s really going on.
Then taking small, grounded steps forward without burning it all down.

I help people move from restlessness to clarity and from clarity to action, calmly.

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not behind.
You’re paying attention.

And that’s usually where change begins.

Stepping outside your comfort zone doesn’t always look brave.

Sometimes it looks shaky and uncomfortable.

Recently, I found myself about 20 metres off the ground at a live wire park.

I’m genuinely scared of heights. Full-body fear. Tight chest, sweaty palms, legs that don’t quite want to cooperate.

I hadn’t accounted for how strong the wind would be up there or how exposed it would feel once I stepped off the platform.

There were moments I stopped completely. Took a breath. A few tears I didn’t expect. It took me a few goes to step off some of the obstacles and there were things I chose not to do at all.

It didn’t look impressive. It wasn’t neat.

But I was up there. Giving it a go.

And that’s the part that matters.

Because confidence isn’t something you wait for.

It’s something you build by staying with yourself while you’re scared.

This is the work I do with people every day, helping them create momentum through small, honest steps, even when fear is present.

Small steps still count.

Especially the ones that feel big to you.

What’s one edge you’re standing on right now?

If you’re honest, you already know.

Not the full plan.
Not the outcome.
But the feeling.

It’s the thought you keep circling back to: the idea, the project, the possible change you haven’t quite let yourself admit.

You’ve run the pros and cons.
You’ve told yourself to wait until you’re more certain, more ready, more resourced.

You’ve stayed practical. Sensible. Responsible.
And still… it’s there.

You don’t sit on the fence this long unless something on the other side matters.

What you’re feeling isn’t impatience.
It’s not restlessness for the sake of it.
It’s information.

Most people think change begins with confidence.
It doesn’t.

It begins with curiosity, with the willingness to ask, “What happens if I take one small step toward this?”.

You don’t have to leap.
You don’t have to quit.
You don’t have to announce anything.
You just have to move from thinking about it to being in conversation with it.

That’s often enough to shift something internally.

And if you’re waiting for a sign...sometimes this is it.
Not permission.
Not certainty.

Just an invitation to step off the fence and meet what’s been quietly waiting for you on the other side.

Possibility is all around us...

Like when my husband and I decided to build a proper home gym.

What was an old hut that served its purpose, became a full backyard renovation.

The possibility became evident when we decided this was important to us.

Creating more flexibility, ease, convenience to be able to do exercise we love, whenever we wanted.

The path to get to this moment became apparent as we worked through the steps.

That same possibility mindset becomes evident in your career, health, life, when you decide that what you are doing today is no longer serving you.

It’s no longer lighting you up. It’s simply become a means to an end.

Life is too short to be a means to an end.

Instead possibility awakens the person you want to be, the life you want to live, the joy you want to have, the creativity you want to bring to life.

If you’ve been nodding along to these reflections and feel like it might be time to talk things through, that curiosity is worth honouring. Reach out, I love ideating with others.

This is the year I stop fragmenting my experience and start using all of it to help you.

I’ve been the high performer who looked successful on the outside and felt lost, disconnected and quietly unfulfilled on the inside.

I’ve been the corporate escapee.
The business owner.
The portfolio careerist.
The one rebuilding, reshaping and reimagining what work could be.

So when I talk about purpose, possibility and wellbeing, it’s not theory...
It’s lived.

I’m putting a new spin on “jack of all trades.”
Because I don’t believe depth only comes from staying in one lane.

I believe it comes from integration.
And this is who I help.

I work with people who:
- are successful, but feel like something’s missing
- are questioning their career or identity, quietly
- are thinking about starting a business, reshaping one
- are building a portfolio career
- don’t want to burn everything down, but can’t ignore the pull for more
- want clarity without urgency, and confidence without pretending

People who look fine on the outside but know something inside is asking for attention.

Purpose and passion aren’t “nice to have.”
They’re deeply linked to wellbeing.

When we ignore them, it shows up in our energy, our health, our relationships and our work.

My mission is simple:
to help you pause, reconnect with yourself and choose your next chapter with self-trust and intention, not pressure.

If you’re done carrying this question on your own, reach out.
I’m opening conversations for people ready to choose their next chapter with clarity and self-trust.

You don’t need certainty, just willingness.

There always comes a quiet knowing after you take the time to stop, be, breath and feel…

This time of year can bring with it angst, frustration and confusion particularly if you are feeling unsettled in your career or life.

This is Me. Raising my Happiness

Before the reality of being a marathon running, business mum was even a sniff of a thought – I was a naive 32 year old woman who thought life as a mum wouldn’t be that tricky.

I would have my baby, take some time off and then return to work where I left off.

They say naivety is a beautiful thing and thank goodness that IT is such a thing, because god knows what dreams or ambitions I would’ve left on the table.

The reality of motherhood hit me square in the face, many times over but the true reality of how much of a juggle being a parent is was when I returned to work post maternity leave.
