IPL is one of the most versatile light-based treatments we use in clinic.

Using the IPL system, pulses of light energy are delivered into the skin where they interact with pigment and vascular structures. This process can help improve the appearance of concerns such as pigmentation, redness and uneven tone.

This image shows the skin response following the 1st of 3-4 sessions.

A key feature of this device is its sapphire cooling tip, designed to help maintain comfort during treatment while protecting the surface of the skin as the light energy is delivered.

I had the please of attending the launch and training of a product that can support the skin of the full face (including forehead), undereye area, cheeks, neck, decollatege & hands.

Last year Janine and I spent the day upskilling to increase our DPL, IPL knowledge with Jo from the . We have learnt some new techniques that deliver results people will comment on. Some of the comments from those treated on the day are "my pores look finer" "there's just something about my skin that is so much better" "my dog groomer even commented on how good my skin looks"

Unlike older or generic IPL devices that emit broad, uncontrolled light, the DPL Protégé uses advanced notch-filtering technology. This selectively removes unnecessary wavelengths, allowing light energy to be delivered with precision to the intended chromophores (targets) in the skin — such as melanin and haemoglobin — while minimising excess heat to surrounding tissue. So many of you have asked where I got the sideboard and bedside from. The answer is Living Styles. . It was a bit of a gamble because condition upon purchase was no returns. I think the gamble paid off, don't you? Thayan and I gave Mr Wolf a break and assembled this one.
