The wait is finally over—the Mother’s Day Classic is here! It's time to lace up your shoes, gather your loved ones, and join us for a morning filled with inspiration, unity, and purpose. Don’t forget the event opens at 8am.

Together, we'll honor the strength and resilience of mothers everywhere.

If you haven't already, there's still time to register and join us for a day that promises to be unforgettable.

🚶‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Attention participants! 🏃‍♀️🚶

Please see the attached picture for the route details of the Mother’s Day Classic walk/run. The 5 km turnaround point is at Griffiths St, and the approximate 10 km turnaround point is at Emu Point.

Remember to stay hydrated along the way! There will be first aid stations at each post and water refill stations can be found at Middleton Beach and Emu Point where you can refill your water bottles. Please take note where the public toilets are located.

Stick to the designated tracks, follow the instructions of our volunteers, and most importantly, have fun! Let's make this Mother’s Day Classic one to remember! 💫

If you need help during the event, our volunteer cyclists will be on the track to assist you. We also have first aid kits available at three locations: Middleton Beach, Griffiths Street, and Emu Point. Keep an eye out for the signs! Let’s make it a safe and memorable day for all participants!

Here's a rundown of what you can expect at the Mother’s Day Classic:

7.30am REGISTRATIONS: Participants arrive and check in at the registration area. If you haven't registered yet, there may be on-the-day registration available.

8am EVENT OPENS: Gather at the start line with fellow participants as the event kicks off. Listen for any announcements or important instructions from the event organisers.

8.15am WARM UP: Get warm and ready before the event kicks off!

8.30amTHE WALK/RUN: Whether you're tackling the 5km or 10km track, it's time to hit the pavement! Follow the designated route along Middleton Beach, enjoying the scenic views and the company of other participants.

*WATER: Stay hydrated, Middleton Beach and Emu Point has various spots to refill water bottles.

*VOLUNTEER SUPPORT: Look out for our friendly volunteers along the route, providing assistance, encouragement, and cheering you on.

*FINISH LINE / MEDALLIONS: Cross the finish line with a sense of accomplishment! Celebrate your achievement, receive your medallions and take a moment to soak in the atmosphere.

🌸Post-Event Activities: After the walk/run, stick around for some breakfast,make a bid on the silent auction, and opportunities to connect with other participants.

🌸Remember to have fun, stay safe, and cherish the memories created at the Mother’s Day Classic! 🎗️🏃‍♀️
