Meet Dr Paul Gibson

Behind every appointment is decades of experience, care, and genuine connection to community.

Dr Paul Gibson has been a GP for over 25 years, with around half of that time spent practising right here in Albany a place he feels deeply connected to and proud to serve. His long-standing presence in the region has allowed him to build meaningful relationships with patients and families over many years.

Dr Gibson has a number of special interests, with a particular focus on men’s health, recognising the importance of accessible, proactive care for men in rural Australia.

Outside the clinic, you’ll often find him out riding with the local cycling club, enjoying a good coffee, or browsing the farmers markets for fresh local produce — a reflection of his active lifestyle and strong ties to the community.

Dr Gibson is a valued member of the team at Pioneer Health, and we look forward to introducing more of our team over the coming weeks.

👋 WELCOME TO PIONEER HEALTH!

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Manidipa Das to the Pioneer Health GP team.

Manidipa grew up in New Zealand and studied medicine at the University of Otago, graduating in 2015.

She has worked in a number of hospitals across a broad range of specialties in Australia and NZ whilst attaining post-graduate qualifications in women's and children's health.

Manidipa moved to Albany in 2019 and calls it home; she worked at the local hospital before moving into general practice specialist training, which she completed in 2022. Manidipa enjoys the breadth of general practice and getting to know her patients; she is passionate about preventive health across the lifespan.

Yes, it's Halloween.

But forget spooky, today we chose "sparkly" and dressed in pink to support Pink Ribbon Day. We shared morning tea, raffled prizes, and raised funds for a cause close to many hearts — breast cancer awareness and research.
