Hello and welcome!
I am a qualified Naturopath and Lymphoedema Therapist. My journey with natural and complementary therapies began in my teenage years when I looked for alternative and natural treatments to help with my own health issues. I have always been particularly fascinated about old home remedies. After migrating to Australia from Germany I began studying Naturopathy at the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies and graduated with the Advanced Diploma in 2004. In addition to Naturopathy, I completed 4 weeks of training in Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy at the Dr Vodder School. In 2009 I graduated from Southern Cross University with the Bachelor of Natural Therapies.
After graduating I worked part-time in private practice in the Northern Suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. In 2016 my family and I moved to Torbay in the Great Southern of Western Australia. In May 2018 I started practicing again as a Naturopath and Lymphoedema Therapist at the Albany Body & Mind Health in Albany, WA. From July 2020 I will be offering Manual Lymph Drainage sessions at the Denmark Natural Therapy Centre, Denmark WA.
I am passionate about working with clients to achieve better health and well-being using gentle natural therapies. I strongly believe in nature’s healing powers and the body’s vital ability to heal and maintain itself. Nowadays, there are lots of stressors affecting our well-being and it is essential that we support and strengthen our whole body. My holistic approach to health means that I consider the whole person by taking into account physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social and environmental factors having an influence on our health.
