Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology & Occupational Medicine colocated in a friendly clinic with a spacious exercise studio for strength training, injury rehabilitation, Workers Compensation, Pre-employment Medicals and Pre-employment Physical Testing. Working closely with our Sports Doctors our allied health team is available 8am to 6pm most days per week and Saturday morning 8am - noon.

It was a real privilege to be at the Great Southern Academy of Sport annual awards night last Sunday — an evening where we celebrated not just sporting talent, but commitment, growth and character. A great opportunity to reflect upon the values we all share across sport, performance and community.

We chose to sponsor the ‘Coaches Award’, an award based on more than just ability. It’s about being engaged and coachable, showing leadership, attitude, and a clear trajectory of development — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Congratulations Abbey O’Donnell!

Every day in our clinic we see the importance of building strong habits early. We often work with older clients who tell us, “I wish I’d started exercising properly years ago.” That’s why it’s so encouraging - and important, to see young athletes learning to move well, think well, and build strong habits from an early age. Sunday morning just gone, 4 intrepid SCSM team members went for a walk from Discovery Bay along the coast to Lake Vancouver and then inland up through the woods and over the hill and back. On the way we had a chat with a client also out walking which was happy circumstance. With only a couple of very brief rain showers, it was a great way to start Sunday walking through varied terrain. 2 of us got both feet wet, 1 of us got one foot wet and 1 of us kept his feet dry… 😉
