We currently have a SIL vacancy with a private ensuite, located in Central Albury. This is a shared accommodation with one other male, offering a safe and welcoming environment where participants are supported to live as independently as possible.

Glenecho Community Centre is excited to share a new initiative that they have been working with Mercy Connect and Omnia Employment services to get this up and running for our community.

SIL - Supported Independent Living

Are you, a loved one, or someone you support looking for a welcoming SIL setting?

My Team Support Services has a small number of vacancies available now, and more opening soon, in beautifully modern, homes in Albury and Thurgoona.

We offer a mix of 1:3 and 1:2 support settings, ideal for participants with varying support needs.

Our homes are staffed by qualified, experienced disability support workers, trained to provide personalised care for people with a wide range of abilities and goals. We also have several SDA properties for those requiring a Fully Accessible or High Physical Support Home to support participants maintain a higher level of independence.

Have you heard about the National Assistance Card? It's now available for people with autism and people with brain injury across the country.

The card helps a person communicate their unique needs. This is useful for daily tasks, like shopping, or in emergencies.

Cardholders can list the impacts of their disability on the card. They can also add more details to the QR code by adding a written message or recorded video.

Current cardholders report that the card gives them more confidence and independence. It makes them feel more comfortable accessing services in the community.
