PRANAYAMA WORKSHOP

Take some time to deep dive into a workshop exploring the practice of Pranayama (working with the breath).

We will be exploring set-ups in both lying and sitting to support different pranayama techniques over the 2 hour workshop, finishing with a long relaxation that will leave you feeling deeply grounded and calm.

Need a mid winter re-set? Join us on the mat. All welcome 🙏

Restorative Yoga Classes Return Tuesday 21st Janaury 6-7pm
at The Space David St Albury.

The joy of rest is something else - come and give it a summer try if you have not done this type of practice before.

Restorative Yoga is a practice centered on the power of rest and mindful pausing. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, restorative yoga uses props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support the body in passive poses. This allows you to hold poses for longer periods, often from 5 to 20 minutes, with the goal of deeply relaxing the body and calming the mind.

The emphasis is on activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for rest and digestion, helping to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and promote overall well-being. By fostering a state of deep relaxation, restorative yoga can facilitate healing, restore energy, and help individuals reconnect with their inner sense of peace.
