This is your gentle reminder: You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to do it all alone. You are allowed to be human. 💜

Sweet Archie’s Birthday is today 💞

He would have been 18 years old 🫶🏻

For all the girls who have been to my Bell Tent Retreats and in my 1:1 sessions over the years, you all knew him so well.

Even now when a younger sibling comes to see me (after their watching their older sister come to my sessions and workshops), I still get asked: Don’t you have 2 dogs?

Yes, Archie is always still in our hearts. I keep his name tag and a piece of his hair in my office space, so he’s still always with me and the girls in each session.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Boy!

Thank you for the sweet memories we all still hold of you 💞

Imagine if your daughter…

💗 Spoke kindly to herself
🌱 Didn’t crumble after a setback
💬 Knew how to have a calm conversation when she was upset
🌸 Felt good about who she is – not because someone told her, but because she believed it

That’s what’s possible when girls are given the right support –
Not just when things are “bad”
But in the everyday moments that shape how they see themselves and the world.

This work isn’t just about managing anxiety or fixing friendships.
It’s about helping girls become who they’re meant to be –
Strong, soft, self-aware, and proud of who they are.

When we invest in their emotional wellbeing early,
We don’t just build confidence…
We build future women who know their worth.

And that, more than anything, is the gift I want to give!

I’ve stuffed up more times than I can count.

As a mum, I’ve said the wrong thing.
Reacted too quickly.
Tried to fix things that didn’t need fixing.
Missed the signs.
Made it about me, when it wasn’t.

And yet – I kept showing up.

Not as a perfect parent. But as a growing one.

Somewhere along the way, I realised the most powerful thing I could do wasn’t to have it all together...

It was to give my kids permission.

Permission to say:

“Mum, I don’t want you to fix this – I just want you to listen.”
“Mum, I’m allowed to feel what I’m feeling - stop trying to take it away.”
“Mum, I’m not feeling heard or validated right now.”

And even though those words sometimes stung – they helped me pause.
Stop.
Listen.
Reflect.

And try again.
More present. More grounded. More in tune with what they actually needed from me.

That’s what real parenting looks like.
Messy. Humbling. Honest.

Not getting it right all the time – but being open enough to grow, again and again.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re messing it all up – you’re not alone.
You’re learning, just like they are.
And your willingness to keep showing up?
That’s what makes all the difference.

Our children are our biggest teachers & I'm here for the learning.

To the parent who’s trying to be everything for their daughter…

You don’t have to do it all.

You don’t have to have the perfect answers.
You don’t have to make every hard feeling go away.
You don’t have to be the counsellor, life coach, teacher and cheerleader all in one.

What you do need to be?

Present.
Available.
Willing to listen – even when it’s messy.

And brave enough to say,
“I think someone else might be able to help with this too.”

Because support doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
It means you’re doing what strong parents do,
Reaching out before things fall apart.

You’re allowed to be tired.
You’re allowed to need help.
And your daughter?
She’s allowed to learn that support is strength, not shame.

We don’t grow resilience alone.
We grow it in safe, steady, supportive relationships. 💗

You’re doing better than you think.
And I’m here to walk beside you both.

She looks 12… but I was 22.

Dressed up for a cowboy-themed work event, living with my boyfriend (who would become my husband) in the same house we’d end up buying and bringing our two babies home to.

And when I look at this photo now, it stops me in my tracks.

Because I remember what she didn’t show in that smile.

How unsure she was of herself
How much she second-guessed everything
How little she knew about life – or herself

She looked like she had it all together. But inside?
She was still a girl trying to figure out who she was and where she belonged.

If I could go back in time, I’d hold her and say:

You are special
Your soul is sacred
Your heart is magnificent
You are perfect, and wonderful, and beautiful – just as you are

You don’t need to change.
You don’t need to earn your worth.
You don’t need to look outside yourself for approval.

You are enough.

I share this because this is what I want every girl I work with to know,
That they don’t have to grow up feeling like they’re not enough.
That they don’t have to wait 20 years to learn how deeply worthy they already are.

We can tell them now.
We can show them now.
So they grow up with confidence in their hearts – not just smiles on their faces

What do you wish your younger self knew?

“She seems fine…”

But she’s quieter than usual.
She’s snapping more at home.
She’s spending more time alone.
She’s avoiding things she used to enjoy.

Maybe she’s fine.

Or maybe… she’s doing a really good job of pretending to be.

Our girls are getting so good at keeping it all together on the outside.
But underneath? They’re carrying a lot.

Self-doubt.
Social pressure.
Worry about friendships.
Not feeling good enough – even when no one’s said it out loud.

The truth is, many girls won’t ask for help.
They don’t want to be a burden.
They don’t want to make a big deal out of it.

Here are a few gentle ways you can support her, even if she’s not opening up:

💗 Create quiet connection

Be nearby without asking too much. Sometimes just sitting beside her while she does homework or watches something can open the door.

💬 Use casual check-ins

Try light, no-pressure moments like in the car or during dinner. Ask things like,
“What was the hardest part of your day?” or
“What’s something that made you smile today?”

🌱 Normalise emotion

Let her know it’s okay to not be okay – and that everyone struggles sometimes. She’s not too sensitive or dramatic for feeling big things.

🌈 Offer support, not pressure

Let her know you’re here when she’s ready. And remind her she doesn’t have to do it all alone – support is here for the little things too.

That’s why I’ve created gentle, welcoming spaces where girls don’t have to be “struggling” to be supported.

They just have to show up.

Because emotional support isn’t just for the big breakdowns.
It’s for the quiet moments too – the ones we catch before they build.

Do you work with teens?

Yes – absolutely!

I get asked this often, and I understand why. You don’t see a lot of teen photos on my page. But that’s because… teens are different.

Tween girls? They love sharing what they’ve created.
They’re excited to jump in front of the camera and show what they’ve learned.

Teens? They’re private.
They’re more introspective.
They want deeper conversations – and a space that feels safe, respectful and theirs.

That’s what my teen coaching offers.

In 1:1 sessions, I work closely with teen girls on things like:

🌸 Confidence
🧠 Mindset
💬 Friendships
💗 Self-esteem
😣 Anxiety
🌱 Resilience

It’s quiet work. Intentional work.
But it’s also powerful.

Because when a teenage girl feels seen, heard and supported – without judgement – the shift is beautiful.
She softens. She opens.
She starts believing in herself again.

So yes, I absolutely work with teens.
I just honour their privacy – and their need to keep some things sacred.

We are losing our girls too early.

To the pressure.
To the filters.
To the constant comparison.
To the endless noise of social media telling them who to be, how to look, and what “worth” should mean.

And it’s stripping away something sacred.

That innocent inner sparkle.
The joy.
The softness.
The wide-eyed curiosity.

It’s being replaced with performance.
Perfectionism.
Likes over real connection.
Validation from strangers instead of belief in themselves.

I know saying “no” to the apps, the phones, the chats, is hard.

But saying yes too soon… can cost her so much more.

You are allowed to protect her.
You are allowed to say not yet.
You are allowed to be the “mean” parent if it means guarding her soul while it’s still growing.

Because no 11-year-old should feel the pressure to look older, act older, or keep up with conversations their hearts aren’t ready for.

Let her stay young at heart. Let her stay light.
Let her hold onto her sparkle just a little longer.

That shine she has?

It’s rare. It’s real.

And once it fades, it’s so much harder to get back.

What if we didn’t wait for her to fall apart before offering help?

What if we gave her tools before the anxiety got too big…
Before the friendships became a minefield…
Before the self-doubt got louder than her voice?

So many parents come to me saying:

“She’s not in crisis, but she’s not herself either.”
And honestly? That’s the perfect time to support her.

We don’t have to wait for the warning signs to flash red.
We can start when they’re yellow.
Or even green.

Because emotional wellbeing isn’t something we only build in recovery – it’s something we grow over time.

One conversation.
One skill.
One safe space at a time.

She doesn’t need to hit breaking point to get support.
She just needs someone to show up.

This is what I offer in my 1:1 coaching sessions, a safe space to grow, blossom & bloom.

Available for Tweens & Teens.
