Ever heard of skin cancer inside the mouth? Surprisingly, skin cancer can develop anywhere, on anyone! Here are 7 sneaky places where skin cancer can hide on your body. Remember to self-check at home and see your doctor for regular check-ups.

🌞 Between toes – Skin cancers can grow on the soles of your feet and between your toes.
🌞 Ge****ls & buttocks – Even sun-free areas are not immune to skin cancer.
🌞 Under nails – Melanoma can develop under fingernails and toenails as dark streaks or pigmentation.
🌞 Eyelids – Skin cancer can form on the delicate skin around your eyes.
🌞 Scalp – Often hidden by hair, the scalp is a common site for skin cancer.
🌞 Palms & soles – Skin cancer can develop on non-sun-exposed areas like the palms and soles.
🌞 Inside the mouth – The lips, gums, and inner cheeks can also be affected.

Do you have a spot on your skin that stands out from the rest? While some skin cancers are invisible to the naked eye, one common sign of malignancy is the “ugly duckling” – a spot that looks different from the others, like this melanoma recently diagnosed on a patient’s arm.

If you have a new or unusual mole, book in for your skin check even if you’re not yet due. It could save your life!
