Sometimes change isn’t about trying harder it’s about making life kinder.

If what matters most to your wellbeing feels hard to do, that’s not a lack of willpower. It’s a sign the system around you needs adjusting.

It's not about not being lazy. You’re human.
Design your life to support you, not wear you down.

I'm signing off for 2025!
I'll be back in office on Tuesday 6th of January 🌿💚

Thank you again for every client who has stepped through my doors this year. It's been a big one.
One you can be very proud of as you've faced your challenges and grown to new levels...its been an honour and privilege to be entrusted to walk beside you on your journey 💛

The Christmas season can be beautiful, but it can also be a lot. With all the extra activity, crowds, expectations and emotions, it’s no surprise that many of us drift outside our window of tolerance.

For some people, it only takes a small trigger to move into hyperarousal (snapping, overwhelm, irritability).
For others, it shows up as hypoarousal (shutting down, withdrawing, feeling detached).

What helps us stay regulated is deeply personal. Some people need quiet, space and time. Others need connection, a grounding touch, a warm drink, or a big comforting hug.

The trick isn’t to judge the response...it’s to understand what brings you (or someone you love) gently back into balance.

💬 What helps you stay within your window of tolerance?
💬 And what helps you return when you’ve slipped out?

This Christmas, if you're doing it tough behind the scenes, I see you 💛

If you’re carrying quiet worries, missing someone, navigating a breakup, dealing with family stress, money pressures or feeling lonely, I hope you know you’re seen, you’re valued and you’re not alone.

May this season offer a moment of calm, a touch of comfort and a spark of hope, even if it’s in the small things ❤️

✨To anyone who might be struggling this Christmas please remember, you’re allowed to feel more than one thing at the same time.

Joy and pain can co-exist, and that’s completely human. Be kind to yourself. Take things moment by moment and reach out to someone you trust if you need support or encouragement 💛

The more your nervous system is stuck in stress mode, the quicker anxiety can sneak in 💛

Learning to recognise these signals and gently reset can make all the difference. You don’t have to do it alone 🌿

Feeling a bit frazzled? 🌿 Take a moment for yourself. Slow your breath, sip some water, soak in a comforting scent, or step outside into nature. Little things like a gentle touch or grounding in the present moment (try 4-3-2-1) can help you find calm again. You’ve got this 💛

Feeling overwhelmed? 💛 It’s not a weakness it’s your body asking for a pause. Take a few breaths, slow down, and give yourself permission to rest.

Micro choices like these give you the chance to feel calmer and more in control. You’ve got this 🌿

Anxiety isn’t weakness it’s your nervous system trying to protect you.

Those uneasy feelings, the tight chest, the racing thoughts… they’re not signs that you’re “not coping.”

They’re biological signals that you’re under stress and need support, not self-judgement.

When you understand what your nervous system is really doing when you're experiencing anxiety
, you can respond with compassion instead of fear. That can change everything.

Feeling anxious? 🌿

Remember, it’s your nervous system trying to protect you. It’s not who you are.

The good news?

It can shift. You can rewire it, one small step at a time 🌿💚
