This week a yoga student shared that each time she does yoga she feels emotional and teary, sometime during and always at the end of the class in the stillness of relaxation.

We chatted about why this might be.

It's common to feel some emotion welling up as we mindfully move our body.

We store our experiences in our bodies which can be released through movement.

Another POV is that our bodies are starved of real connection.

We tend to be disconnected from our bodies in our everyday. We live and operate from our head & mind in a stream of continual doing.

So, when we slow down and DO tune in, it feels like we're finally meeting a long lost friend who's been craving this connection and attention.

Tears are a big sigh of relief. An 'Oh You Do See Me!"

A big "YES I want more of this."

This.... time for myself, for stillness, for meeting myself, a moment for self love and acknowledgement of all that you do each and every day.

4:00pm Arrive from 4pm, meet, greet and settle in

6:00pm Delish Dinner - outside brazier will be lit

7:30pm Yoga Nidra with Jacq

🌿Saturday

7:00am 🧘‍♀️Gentle and grounding yoga with mindful breathing and meditation.

8:15am Divine Breakfast

9:30am Wise Woman Within You Wisdom Circle with Joan! Experience the magic of Circle where you are heard and welcomed as you are without judgement or expectation and learn how to live in rhythm with the moons cycles so you know when to flow with your creativity and when to ebb and rest. in your life for thriving!

11.30 - 1 x Individual Consult with Jacq - Receive a personalised consultation to explore any health issues, or fine tune your current habits, and together we’ll map out your pathway to thriving again!

🌿 Keeping it real… lately, I’ve been feeling the effects of a few indulgences.

Camping last weekend included...
🔥 Marshmallows by the fire
🍷 A couple of glasses of wine
🍫 And plenty of dark chocolate (my constant companion!)

And now I've been feeling

Foggy, tired, a little dull

My big toe knuckle is painful and my feet sore

I've had more broken sleep, and lower motivation

Sugar cravings are up (I could live on hot choc right now 🙈)

My morning meditation practice has slipping away… replaced with checking my phone 😬

And I'm feeling busier, frazzled, and more disconnected. 😢
