A sacred full moon in Scorpio is building on the horizon. Scorpio full moons are often very potent and powerful as both the moon and the sign of Scorpio are linked to the unconscious and revealing what is hidden.
Being the sign of death and rebirth, this moon carries an energy of endings and resurrections. This is being reflected in nature all around us in the Southern Hemisphere. Autumn brings the shedding of leaves from some trees as they prepare for the cooler months of winter. As such, this moon heralds the deep dive into ourselves as we prepare to conserve our energy inwards.
Scorpio is about exploring our own silent inner power. It’s a reflective energy that does not shy away from the darkness of life (within others, within ourselves and the wider collective). Facing our shadows and the shadow collective makes us strong, it makes us grounded and it makes us less able to be manipulated.
This full moon will likely shine light on the darker corners of our life that we would usually skip over. Power dynamics in relationships become more obvious and secrets (usually uncomfortable ones) can rise to the surface provoking difficult truths, conversations and strong emotions. The key here is to not be afraid of the darkness, to walk into it, knowing its important for your inner growth and resurrection.
The relationship focus around this moon also comes from Venus and Asteroid Juno both being activated under the lunation. The sun in Ta**us also brings some grounded Venusian vibes as we navigate the deep watery depths of the Scorpion. Ta**us reminds us to take care of ourselves, our physical bodies and to embrace our sensual nature as we ride these intense waves.
Ceres, the Goddess Asteroid of grains and harvest is also highly active under this full moon. This pulls further emphasis on good nourishment and healthy choices when it comes to the foods we consume, the thoughts we consume and the actions we take.
Take care and enjoy the energies,
The Lotus Sisters xoxo
