We’re so grateful to share that the Harmonised Health family is growing 🌿

I will be commencing maternity leave from 9th May as I prepare to welcome my new baby.

If you’ve been meaning to book an appointment with me, I still have some availability before I finish, so you’re very welcome to schedule in while appointments remain.

While I’m on leave, Cathy will be available to support you if you’d like to continue your naturopathic care. Cathy is a degree-qualified naturopath with a special interest in women’s health and hormones, gut health, and integrative oncology.

As a thank you to our wonderful community, clients who have previously seen myself or Arron for a massage will receive $30 off their initial consultation with Cathy.

Introducing our new Naturopath ...... CATHY!!

Hi, I’m Cathy — a degree-qualified Clinical Naturopath consulting both in person and online from Aldinga Beach, South Australia.

I live with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and having recently turned 50, I’m navigating perimenopause myself. I understand first-hand the fatigue, disrupted sleep, anxiety, mood shifts, and brain fog that can come with this stage of life. My passion is to ensure women feel truly heard and supported, while helping them restore energy, regain confidence, and thrive in the second half of life. This is why I’m committed to offering evidence-based, holistic care, with clarity, compassion, and practical strategies that genuinely make a difference.

My approach blends the wisdom of traditional naturopathic medicine with the latest research in holistic health. I create personalised treatment plans that are realistic, effective, and designed to fit into everyday life without overwhelm. These may include nutrition and lifestyle guidance, herbal medicine, and targeted supplementation, always tailored to your unique needs.

I have a special interest in hormonal balance, perimenopause and menopause, lipoedema, thyroid and autoimmune conditions, metabolic and gut health, and emotional wellbeing.

Preconception care is important for both males and females intending to conceive. It is important to ensure that your body is at its optimum health for easy conception and healthy development of a baby. You should aim to start pre-conception care 3-4 months prior to conception as final stages of s***matogenesis (s***m production) take 72-76 days and final stages of oocyte (egg) development takes around 100 days.

Here are some important nutrients during pre-conception and pregnancy:
• Folate: Important for cell division and embryo development. Aids in the prevention of neural tube defects. Found in all green leafy vegetables (eg. spinach and kale), broccoli and sprouts.
• Zinc: Reproductive antioxidant and involved in most steps of s***m production. Found in red meat, eggs, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and seafood.
• Essential Fatty Acids: Makes up the fatty membrane in healthy s***m, increases the production of fertile cervical mucus which aids in fertilisation. Found in fish (salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines, herring), flaxseeds, chia seeds, nuts, seeds, dark green leafy vegetables.
• Iron: Important for oxygen transportation around body. Pregnancy creates a greater demand for Iron as blood volume increases. Adequate stores in preconception aids stores during pregnancy. Found in red meat, chicken, fish, legumes, green leafy vegetables, nuts and eggs.

Meet our Massage Therapist:

Arron Lyall Certificate IV in Therapeutic Massage.

Arron is passionate about treating and educating people to achieve a life free of pain and tension. He believes taking regular time for self-care is essential in today’s busy world and is key to reaching our full potential.

At the age of 6, Arron was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and a degenerative eye disease, which gradually caused him to lose his sight.

Arron was determined and inspired by what other visually impaired people could achieve, and grew up competing in Judo. This sport sparked his interest in physical activity, body mechanics, and the importance of good posture and stretching. After receiving a massage from a blind therapist, Arron discovered a passion for physical therapy, which eventually led him to studying Remedial Massage at TAFE SA.

Arron's goal as a massage therapist is to help his clients reduce stress and tension in their bodies, relax muscles, rehabilitate injuries, identify and treat muscular imbalances, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellness.
