Lego! Lego! Lego?

What are we doing with this today?

Today, with one of the persons that I support, I brought out the lego for connection and fine motor skill development.

Lego, yes the little pieces of plastic that hurt when you step on them, added a great benefit to our session not only in creation, discovery but it was also used as a focus point.

I really enjoy the people I support, and I also enjoy the games and creative things we get to do.

My mentor sessions are always based on the person I support - their interests and needs, sometimes we think outside the box to achieve those things, but that’s what makes it fun and interesting.
